He loved his gift for his birthday, but there were couple issues. The chocolate had completely melted and the cheese was also melting. They received package as soon as it was delivered, but with Florida and using USPS it was out for delivery longer than it probably should have been.

Hi Nancy, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad to hear the birthday gift was well received and that your recipient loved it. We’re very sorry to hear about the condition of some items upon arrival, particularly the melted chocolate and cheese. Warmer climates and extended time in transit, especially during final delivery stages, can unfortunately impact temperature-sensitive items even when packages are received shortly after delivery. We truly appreciate your understanding and your feedback regarding transit conditions and packaging, as it helps us continue improving how we prepare temperature-sensitive gifts for warmer destinations. Thank you again for choosing BroCrates and for sharing both the positives and areas where we can improve.

This is my second time ordering from BroCrates. They offer an amazing selection of baskets across all price ranges. Unfortunately, my latest delivery arrived with significant issues. The package arrived one day earlier than requested, and unfortunately, one of the bottles inside was damaged. The resulting leak soaked the entire basket and completely ruined the accompanying greeting card. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the great variety of gift options they provide.

Hi Lana, thank you so much for your continued support and for choosing BroCrates again. We truly appreciate your loyalty and are glad to hear you continue to enjoy the variety of gift options we offer. That said, we’re very sorry to hear about the issues with your recent order. We understand how disappointing it must have been for the package to arrive earlier than requested, especially with a damaged bottle causing leakage that affected the basket presentation and ruined your greeting card. While transit issues can occasionally happen during shipping, we sincerely apologize that this impacted the gifting experience. We truly appreciate you highlighting both the positives and areas where we fell short, and your feedback regarding packaging, delivery timing, and product handling has been shared with our team for review. Thank you again for your continued trust and for taking the time to share your experience.

I received a crate with 24 cans and bottles of beer. All domestic trash and Mexican brews. It was a gift so I can't fault my nephew but when I called to inquire about the selection they advised they reserved the right to make substitutions if a beer was out of stock. No craft beers or IPAs in the box. Miller lite, Miller, Michelob ultra, Rolling Rock, Pacifico, etc. I would pay $20 for what was sent. Additionally the best part of the gift was the oak box which arrived broken. I would be very careful ordering from this company. There are many better.

Hi Todd, we’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your disappointment regarding both the product selection and condition upon arrival. We sincerely apologize that the beer assortment did not meet your expectations, especially if you were expecting a stronger focus on craft beers or IPAs. While substitutions may occasionally be necessary due to inventory availability, regional restrictions, or supplier limitations, our goal is always to provide an assortment that delivers value and a positive gifting experience. We’re also very sorry to hear that the wooden crate arrived damaged. Packaging arriving in poor condition can certainly affect the overall experience, and we understand your frustration, particularly when the presentation was an important part of the gift. Your feedback regarding product selection, substitutions, packaging quality, and customer service has been shared internally for further review as we continue working to improve our products and customer experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback.

Terrible service throughout. Delivery was 5 days late with no apology (and AI customer service) and then they delivered whatever they wanted- NOT the bottle I upgraded to. Then AI stated they’re allowed to substitute. Don’t order from this “company” unless you’re an attorney that enjoys reading policies and disclosures. Terrible company with worse customer service.

Hi Kristen, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration regarding both the delayed delivery and the product received. We sincerely apologize that your order arrived later than expected and that the upgraded bottle selection did not match what you anticipated. We understand how disappointing it can be when a gift does not arrive as planned, especially when additional upgrades were selected to make it more personal. While substitutions may occasionally be necessary due to inventory availability, regional restrictions, or supplier limitations, our goal is always to provide replacements of comparable quality and value. We understand your concern that this experience did not meet those expectations. We’re also sorry that our customer service interactions left you feeling unsupported or impersonal. We know that clear and helpful communication matters, especially when concerns arise, and your feedback regarding both communication and transparency has been shared with our customer service and fulfillment teams for review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback.

My husband loved it but not gonna lie, it was a little disappointed when I paid extra for the smoked Gouda to be in there and it was cheddar cheese 😞

Thank you for your 4-star review! We are so happy to hear that your husband loved his gift. However, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment regarding the cheese substitution. While we do have a substitution policy in place to ensure orders are delivered on time—replacing unavailable items with others of equal or greater value—we understand that when you pay extra for a specific item like smoked Gouda, receiving a different variety is frustrating. We have taken note of your feedback to help us improve our accuracy and communication regarding premium additions. We truly appreciate you choosing BroCrates!

The recipient was thrilled with the gift and I love that it was tailored with items specifically for men. Nothing flowery, very sophisticated. Delivery on schedule, as promised.

I bought a crate for my husband, nothing was broken, but he didn't receive it on time which I put a specific date and they said it would get there but took an extra business day, which fell in a Monday so he didn't get it on his birthday. On top of that none of the add on beers that I paid for were in the crate just put in extra random stuff, so what was the point of adding on specific beers and meats if they weren't going to be there. The least they could have done was send a message that they didn't have those beers or meat. Terrible customer service

since this gift was meant to arrive in time for your husband’s birthday. We understand how disappointing it must have been for the order to arrive later than expected. Please note that selected delivery dates are based on estimated transit times unless a guaranteed service is specifically chosen, and occasional courier delays can occur. We also understand your concerns regarding the missing add-on beers and meats. As outlined on our website, certain items may be substituted with products of equal or greater value when specific selections are unavailable at the time of fulfillment. However, we recognize that advance communication regarding unavailable custom add-ons would have been appreciated, and we regret any frustration caused. We also apologize that your experience with customer service left you dissatisfied, as this is not the standard we aim to provide. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with our team for review as we continue improving our service and communication.
