BuildZoomReviews of buildzoom.com

Wonderful customer service and follow up from BuildZoom. They provided 3 contractor leads for my remodeling project as they stated they would do. I found a contractor to the work from the list of what I wanted to to be done. Mauro has been reliable, does great work, and he also provided honest feedback on what needs to be done in repairs and suggested what is NOT necessary to do to for the remodel of my home in order to complete the repairs to put my home up for sale. Mauro saved me $1000 from the work he suggested did not need to be undertaken.

We signed up for the premium service. It was a waste of time and money. Contractors also inflate their price when working through Buildzoom. Buildzoom introduced us to 3 contractors. Each contractor quoted us around $700-900k to build our home. Buildzoom was supposed to receive a breakdown by line and compare for the construction of our home from each contractor. The bids we received from buildzoom were then inflated to $1.2 to $1.7 million from the same contractors. We never received any line amounts or a justification for this inflated price. Buildzoom charged us $7000 for their services despite giving us no new information and higher costing bids.

Good information on contractors for your job.

My wife and I went through Home Depot to have one of their recommended contractors remodel our small bathroom. We were put in touch with Old Time Contractors in Sykesville Maryland Carroll County. They did a fantastic job! The bathroom is perfect! I'm a real detail oriented person and found nothing wrong with any of their workmanship. Brian is great to work with and he carefully listens to your ideas and adds his own to build upon yours. Andrew did all the work by himself. He was here everyday for 3 weeks straight and did the demo of the old bathroom then remodeled it to it's great condition.

Great company who provide an amazing screening for professionals. Will highly recommend!

The experience with Vista Landscape was 100% positive. They estimated the job and we agreed. They lived up to everything the quoted on and our yard. There was a lot of hard work, moving flagstone, rocks and leveling everything. They hauled away excess dirt and rocks. The workers were strong, worked hard and were cheerful. There was always a supervisory person on site. They cleared an old cement walkway, poured cement to widen our driveway. Then, cleared the entire front yard except for 4 large bushes. They took up all flagstone and relayed it in a beautiful pattern. Then planted some new plants, flowers and some succulents. Also, they installed an irrigation system. So no more lugging the hose around. Our life is simpler, and far more beautiful out front than ever! We Highly Recommend Vista Landscape and are very grateful to have found them.

It was a pleasure doing business with Encanto Heating & Cooling. They were professional and pleasant in every aspect of the way. They explained everything they were doing as they were going.
