Laura,
We're very sorry to hear that you've had an overall bad experience with our cabinets. You summed it up well when you stated that all companies have good and bad days. In your specific case this was very much the case.
While your experience was admittedly less than the perfection we seek, we can say with confidence that our company tried our best to fix the issues you experienced and satisfy you.
As I'm sure you are aware of at this point, we rely on third party companies to deliver the cabinets we produce. You had a large pantry on your order, and unfortunately the carrier that delivered the cabinets damaged the packaging (and possibly the cabinet itself) three different times in total.
Normally we have ways to overcome the occasional third party carrier's shortcomings, and those are reflected in our delivery policies. Through the communication we had with you we tried to make those policies clear to you, but there must have been a misunderstanding between us because you declined our advice three times in total.
Our cabinets are packaged so that damage to the box doesn't usually affect the cabinet parts inside. So we asked you to accept the pantry, inspect it, and let us know what (if any) replacement parts you needed for it. Doing things that way allows us to quickly send you smaller, easier to ship parts, which would have allowed your project to move forward within less than a week.
You insisted on a new cabinet each of the three times it arrived, and because of that we had no choice but to reship an entire unit to you, which was difficult, expensive for everyone involved, and is also slow by comparison to sending parts via UPS.
I know it can be difficult to trust that we were going to satisfy your issues, but we can assure you that over the last 12 years we've been supplying cabinets nationally online, we have figured out the best ways to handle damage to our product.
As for your statements that we did not apologize or attempt to remedy the situation, Our records show we refunded the entire price of the pantry to you, and expressed written apologies(that you responded to and accepted), in spite of you ignoring the methods for handling damages outlined in our policies and terms. We're a little confused on our end what we could have done differently.
Regardless, we are glad that you were able to find an alternative.
Thanks for the feedback, we will try and apply your critiques to our practices.
