**To anyone thinking about hiring Capital Law Partners — especially for an “ICE” or immigration case — I want to explain what happened to me, step by step\.** **\- STEP 1 — THE AGREEMENT** I made an agreement with one of the firm’s partners and paid part of the fee\. ❌ I hired one attorney\. However, I never actually worked with one attorney\. **\- STEP 2 — NO ONE WAS CLEARLY RESPONSIBLE FOR MY CASE** After making the payment, I was passed between different people\. One person handled documents\. Another responded to messages\. Someone else “followed” my case\. ❌ No one was clearly responsible for my case\. ❌ Even today, I do not know who was actually responsible for my case\. But at this point, it no longer matters because I ended my relationship with this firm before experiencing even bigger problems with them\. **\- STEP 3 — THE ATTORNEY: MEHMET TÜRKOĞLU** He was presented to me as an experienced immigration attorney who could handle my ICE\-related situation\. ❌ It was extremely difficult to reach him\. ❌ I never felt that my situation, or even my life, was being taken seriously\. In immigration cases, even a single hearing can change everything\. Communication is not optional; it is essential\. **\- STEP 4 — I MADE TWO SIMPLE REQUESTS** I requested either a refund or an itemized invoice showing what services my payment was used for\. ❌ Refund: Denied\. ❌ Itemized invoice: Never provided\. **\- STEP 5 — THE RESPONSES I RECEIVED** *\(Everything is documented in writing and I have copies of all of it\.\)* ❌ I was told that even responding to my message was worth more than the amount I had paid\. ❌ I received an email that essentially said, “Even the response we gave you is worth more than the fee you paid us\.” This was the way they communicated with a paying client\. You can judge for yourself\. **WHAT I AM NOT SAYING** My case has not been completed yet\. Therefore, I am not making any claims about the outcome of my case\. This review is about communication, respect, and accountability, and all of this is documented: the agreement, the payments, and all of the correspondence\. I also personally know other people who have worked with this firm and experienced serious problems\. However, their stories are not mine to tell\. **TO THE FIRM** If you respond to this review, do one thing: provide the itemized invoice I requested\. Everything else is unnecessary\. **TO EVERYONE READING THIS** Get every promise made to you in writing\. Choose very carefully\. I wish I had read a review like this before I made my payment\.

I hired Mehmet T. Türkoğlu to represent us in a federal Habeas Corpus case. He required the entire legal fee to be paid upfront, and I paid the full $5,500 before any legal work was confirmed. After receiving payment, he has been completely unreachable for approximately 45 days. We have made repeated attempts to contact him by phone, text message, email, and other communication methods, but we have received no response. Instead, we have been blocked, leaving us with no way to communicate regarding our case. As a result, we believe we have been defrauded, and I cannot recommend his services under any circumstances. If Mehmet T. Türkoğlu sees this statement, I demand that he immediately provide the following documents: * The ECF Filing Receipt confirming that the federal case was filed, along with the official Case Number. * The official Summons issued by the court showing that the case was accepted and assigned a case number. * A complete copy of the signed Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus that was allegedly filed with the court. If the case has truly been filed, provide the Case Number immediately. I will independently verify the filing through the PACER system and the federal court’s public records. If these documents cannot be produced, I demand the immediate refund of the $5,500 that I paid. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will pursue all available legal remedies and file complaints with the appropriate courts, regulatory authorities, and professional organizations. I am making this statement publicly to warn others about my experience and to request transparency and accountability.
