Inquired if the gauge cluster had been tested and verified. I was told it had and was sent a picture of the gauge lit up. Upon installing the cluster in my car the speedometer does not work. This is the reason I purchased the cluster, my speedometer does not work. It would have been nice to know "tested and ready" meant they plugged the cluster up and made sure all the lights worked.

I entered my vehicle specifications into Car Mall’s website and was shown a picture of a part that was supposedly compatible with my vehicle. Based on the information they provided, I placed the order. The item arrived quickly, but the part they sent was completely wrong. After contacting customer service, they eventually admitted they did not actually have the correct part I needed — yet they sent me a different item anyway. What makes this even more frustrating is that they refused to provide a prepaid return label and expected me to pay the return shipping costs for their mistake. If a company sends the wrong item because of their own error and knowingly substitutes an incorrect part, the customer should not have to pay to return it. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that while we provide free shipping on orders, our standard store policy requires customers to cover return shipping fees. In this specific case, the sun visor itself was compatible with your vehicle; however, there was a difference in the plug shape (triangular vs. square connector), which was detailed in the listing photos of the item selected during checkout. Since we currently do not have another unit with your exact connector type to offer a direct exchange, the best course of action is to initiate a return. To ensure your satisfaction and resolve this misunderstanding, you will receive a full refund for your purchase. Our customer service team is fully available to guide you through this process quickly. We highly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our customer support and listing accuracy.

Would not suggest using this company. Ordered an inner door handle and after slow shipping opened the box and they sent me a seat belt latch! Emailed them and response was like I was lying so then called and guy said will call you back well did not happen then I called them and I find out they did not even have part I ordered so they sent a cheap part hoping I go away. Won’t do business again too many honest folks in the United States

We sincerely regret that your experience was not what you expected. As we mentioned in our previous communications, there was an error when packing your order, and we completely understand your frustration. We want to emphasize that as soon as you notified us of the problem, we proceeded to investigate what happened and issued a full refund for your purchase. We also offered you a special discount to try to compensate for the inconvenience; our priority was to provide you with an immediate solution. You can check your emails; you always received a response from us on the same day you filed your complaint. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future. Blessings.
