Hi Margaret,
Thank you for taking the time to review! Amazon does not allow the sale of CBD products on its site, however they do allow the sale of Hemp Seed Oil. The unfortunate thing about not being able to label products correctly as CBD, means sellers who market these products on amazon cannot identify the CBD content, or provide lab reports to show if the product is CBD, or if it hemp seed oil. Hemp seed oil and CBD oil are very different products. CBD oil uses the stalks, leaves, and flowers of the hemp plant in its production. These contain a high concentration of CBD (cannabidiol), which is a cannabinoid highly studied and praised for it's numerous potential health benefits. Meanwhile, hemp seed oil comes from the seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant, The seeds do not contain CBD, but they still have a rich profile of nutrients, fatty acids and is used for moisturizing skin and hair, cooking, or as a carrier for herbal tinctures. Amazon's "no CBD" rule makes buying any hemp product from amazon a gamble. We would always recommend purchasing CBD from a company that specializes in CBD products, and has easily viewable 3rd party lab reports that verify the potency of CBD and other cannabinoids in their products, and has a clear chain of custody tracing the plants all the way back to the soil they were grown on for pesticide's. Only a USDA organically certified farm can guarantee the best products.
