I ordered a sealer before Christmas and received it after Christmas. No biggee. But during the time the order was being processed I saw it "In action" at my sister-in-law's and was not happy with the operation. With that being said, I requested a return label the day I received it. It took me about 4 days to get it. I did not even open the box but sent pictures etc as their website indicates. I mailed it Jan 2nd and they received it Jan 6th. I emailed them on Jan 14th to see if they did indeed receive it and got a response that it takes 10 days to process the return. I was just asking for a status not when the credit would be issued but I am sure that was a standard answer. Since I had paid via PayPal, I went through them to get a response regarding my return. After 10 days I escalated my case to a filed dispute. At this point Chef Preserve has my money and the product. After I filed the dispute, I heard from them and they said they would issue my credit if I cancelled the dispute. I did not do that as I didn't trust them at this point. I filed three different claims through PayPal and received denial letters each time. My last resort was to file through my bank as a disputed charge. After all this time, my case was finally closed in my favor this past week.

We're sorry to hear that this process was so frustrating. We do want to clarify that we absolutely honor our return policy and process refunds for returned orders. In your case, a chargeback/dispute was opened through PayPal and later through your bank. Once a chargeback is active, we're legally unable to issue a refund on our side until the dispute is closed, which is why we explained that cancelling the dispute would allow us to process the refund directly. Based on your review, your bank has now ruled in your favor and refunded you, so you have received your money back. We're sorry the process took longer than either of us would have liked. While most returns are processed without issue, delays can occasionally occur due to carrier transit times, return processing volume, or active payment disputes that prevent us from issuing refunds until they're resolved. Purchased chef preserve in late February. IT DOES NOT VACUUM IN 5 SECONDS AS ADVERTISED. IT TAKES FROM 10 SECONDS TO 20 SECONDS BASED ON BAG SIZES. CONTACTED CHEF PRESERVE HELP AND THEY WANT ME TO PROVIDE INVOICE WHICH AMAZON NEED INFORMATION I CANT FIND. I SPENT TOTAL OF $88.39. CAN’t GET HELP FROM CHEF PRESERVE. FALSE ADVERTISING 5 SECOND

When customers contact us about an Amazon order, we do ask for the Amazon order number because Amazon does not provide us with customer information needed to locate purchases. It's a standard part of the support process and is simply the fastest way for us to find your order and help. As for vacuum times, they can vary depending on the bag size, how full the bag is, and how much air needs to be removed. Many bags vacuum very quickly, while larger bags or bags with more air can take longer than a few seconds. We'd still be happy to help troubleshoot and make sure everything is working properly. Simple things like using the white clip to fully seal the zipper and ensuring the zip closure is completely airtight can make a significant difference in vacuum performance. My experience was and still terrible. I purchased through Amazon and paid extra to get in the same day. I get it within the hour and the device had no motor activity only the light came on. This was after following the instructions on first use. I reach out to get a replacement took the whole weekend just to get a tracking number. Took an extra 3/4 days for item to actually get the usps now for it to only be delivered a week later. So now this week 2 and the express shipping is not express if it takes a week ground. I would not like to see how long it would take for regular shipping. I would have been better taking my chances with Amazon alone in getting a device faster

Because the purchase was made through Amazon, replacement orders sent by our team are fulfilled separately from Amazon's expedited shipping services, which is why the replacement did not arrive as quickly as your original Amazon order. We understand that waiting for a replacement was disappointing, particularly after paying for faster shipping on the original order. I was leary as to whether I would use this or it would become another gadget left in the drawer. To my surprise I wouldn't be without it and it is so compact I store it in my cutlery drawer. I vacuum seal nuts, vegetables, leftovers and fruit. I also go the XL glass container and it was great for when I have leftover homemade soup,,
