I worked with CodeBreakers in order to land my first job out of university. I was able to land a few mediocre-paying jobs on my own (60K-75K range), so I thought it would be worth a shot to see if CodeBreakers can help me land something better. I was contacted by CodeBreakers via LinkedIn during my last year at university. I was confident in my coding skills, but I was unsure if I had the ability to land a high-paying job at a Big N right out of college. CodeBreakers taught me better ways of approaching interview-type problems, so that I would have less difficulties during interviews. It took me around 5 months of practice, but with the mentorship and guidance that I received from CodeBreakers, I was able to land an offer from a Big N company. I didn't think I'd be capable of doing such a thing, but I was finally able to do it with their help. The mentors at CodeBreakers are well-versed in the interview processes at these types of companies, so they are able to give you a great 1-on-1 mentorship experience. I'd definitely recommend that you try it out if you were in a situation like mine.

Sure, the internet is rife with resources that can get you well acquainted with data structures and algorithms, but they don’t quite simulate an actual interview experience. Additionally, these platforms lack that all-essential ‘mentor-element’ that is crucial to landing a job in the big leagues, aka FAANG. Codebreakers did an outstanding job with helping me navigate the turbulent waters of the tech-industry by equipping me with the right tools, guidance, and knowledge from the very outset. Lastly, this review wouldn’t be a proper review if I didn’t talk about their network of software engineering mentors, who, by the way, are all superstars in their own right. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident enough to nail FAANG-style interviews. I had an incredible experience with them, and I’m pretty sure you will too.

CodeBreakers is a life changer. I joined CodeBreakers after having only taken one CS course. My skills in Data Structures and Algorithms were mediocre at best, and I did not have much hope of landing a competitive offer in the tech industry. However, the 1-on-1 mentorship, training, support and guidance I received from CodeBreakers as well as multiple opportunities to mock interview really helped hone my coding and interviewing skills, develop my confidence and improve my intuition and understanding of fundamental CS concepts. Working with codeBreakers fundamentally changed the way I perceived the entire interview and technical interview process. Coming from a non-traditional computer science background I held the belief that I may never do well at algorithms and data structures style questions. Working with code breakers showed me that algorithmic thinking is a skill. One that can be honed and mastered.
