Your items were scheduled for pick-up on 02/26-02/27, but due to an issue with cutting the storage unit lock, you were advised to overnight the key, which caused a delay. Additionally, payment for the pick-up portion was not made until 03/12, about two weeks after pick up, further impacting the delivery scheduling. Please know that we remain committed to assisting you throughout the remainder of your move and ensuring your items are delivered as quickly and safely as possible. Please know that we take all customer feedback seriously and thoroughly review each case. According to our records, you booked our services on August 19, 2024, for a move scheduled on August 29-30, 2024, with a space reservation of 529 cubic feet. The inventory you provided was reflected in every estimate you received and signed. During a follow-up call before your move, additional space was added, which resulted in an increased total cost. You signed the updated paperwork and agreed to the additional charges. At that time, no concerns were brought to our attention. Upon reviewing the paperwork completed at pickup, it was noted that many additional items were added, requiring an extra 500 cubic feet of space. You sent the movers away. Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity to resolve this matter with you before we were notified of a chargeback on your deposit. Despite this, our billing team made the decision to release your deposit as a gesture of goodwill, even though our policy states that cancellations on-site result in forfeiture of the deposit. We are disappointed that you have since labeled our company as a scam, as this does not reflect the actual interaction you had with us. The claims you have made are inaccurate and misleading. Coastal Moving Services has successfully completed thousands of moves nationwide, and we take pride in ensuring that all reviews reflect genuine customer experiences. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during your move.
