I worked along with Jackie Muralla and Na'ama Landau to understand their program. They patiently made as many calls as necessary while carefully outlining what to expect after carefully working with me to understand my needs. They carefully picked out programs for me, and by meeting my requirements, they were able to provide me a choice that was suitable for me. I strongly urge you to try out Collegewise's program.

Ernesto was a really great tutor because he would always answer my questions to the best of his abilities. He put in the effort to teach me new physics concepts with each tutoring session, and he responded promptly to every email.

Working with Stefanie Toye was the most beneficial decision for me when studying for the SATS. Not only was she helpful in teaching me strategies on approaching difficult SAT questions, but she gave me an overall idea on how to approach reading comprehension and analysis. Although some may believe that SAT prep is only useful for the exam itself, her skills and aid allowed me to use all the knowledge I acquired from her even in college. She taught me to be a better writer, reader, and student. Highly recommend.

Stefanie tutored me for the ACT. She always gave helpful tips for each of the sections, especially the sections I struggled on (like the daunting science section). Those tips were so helpful to review right before the test. I loved that she approached looking at the test as teaching me how to look at the types of questions rather than teaching me how to answer each specific question. I felt very prepared from her guidance, especially because of all the practice questions I had done and all the time I spent focusing on the types of problems I had a harder time with. She also gave very useful tips for the ACT essay section. I scored consistently on practice exams, and when I didn't score as well as I hoped on my first real ACT, Stefanie was so empathetic and understanding. She worked with me to figure out why I was struggling under the pressure of taking the real exam, and with her help I felt so confident going in the second time. I ended up with my personal record! Stefanie was so fun to have as my tutor and made each of our sessions engaging by being down-to-earth, relatable, and always getting straight to the point. She made sure that our lessons were productive, and I always left our sessions feeling invigorated and ready to take on the ACT. I really do believe that my high ACT score helped me get into one of my top colleges, Boston University, that I'm attending right now. I would 100% recommend Stefanie to any high schooler in need of test prep, and I'm so grateful I had her to help me score better than I thought I ever would on the ACT.

Jon Tarella has tutored my son in both math (2 years) and Physics (1 year). I simply cannot say enough him. He writes us thorough monthly updates about our son's progress and is very flexible around schedule changes if he has availability. Jon effortlessly switches back and forth between math and physics, or even does both in the same session depending on my son's needs. My son got off to a terrible start in Physics this year and Jon looked at his first 2 assessments and diagnosed the issue immediately. Since then, my son is not only succeeding but enjoying a very difficult subject! Jon knows a great deal about the different curriculum strengths and weaknesses of local schools, which is helpful. Best of all, Jon's enthusiasm for helping students really shines through. Great teacher and a great person!

My daughter has been working with Tanner Reive to prepare for the ACT this July. He has been excellent. He has helped her increase her practice scores and made her feel very comfortable and confident. He has been flexible and supportive and encouraging. We feel lucky to have had him recommended to us.

Jon Tarella was my calculus tutor for two years when I was in high school. Before Jon, calculus was a daunting task for me. I had an extremely hard time preparing for tests, and even after countless hours spent studying I still didn’t have a strong grasp on the material. Jon did a great job going through homework and exams with me, explaining where I went wrong, and creating practice problems for the areas that I needed extra support in. Jon also helped me prepare for the math section of the SAT’s, and I felt supported down to the smallest detail, even how to prepare my calculator. Jon was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a math tutor. I ended up doing well in high school math and on the SAT’s, and I minored in statistics in undergrad!

We felt very fortunate that we could hire Jon Tarella to tutor both of our children. Not only was he an expert in the subject, but he also had a good understanding of what was being taught as well as the teaching methods used in the classroom. Jon is professional, easy going and always did his best to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule. My kids saw him both in-person and on Zoom during the pandemic. His detailed updates were super helpful and confirmed how well he knew our kids. He filled in the gaps with tips and tricks and the extra practice problems he provided were the key to a deeper understanding of difficult subjects.
