Tanner worked with my 6th grader to prep for the ISEE. My son loved working with Tanner! Tanner made my son feel so comfortable when he was nervous about having a tutor for the first time. Tanner made the sessions fun and manageable and always came prepared and knew the material well. He also made my son feel calm and confident about the test. We had such a great experience with Tanner and highly recommend him! He's wonderful!

Working with College Wise helped guide me through the college and SAT process. Working with Tanner Reive as an SAT tutor was one of the best decisions I made. He helped me for two months over zoom and helped me expand my skills in time for the test. He truly took the time to work with me when I needed help, even when I didn’t have a meeting scheduled he took time out of his life to help me. My counselors were Maureen Hinks and Carri Franz, and they were also a huge help. Because of their dedication, they helped me get into my top school and more than 80% of my schools I applied to. I could not have asked for a better team to have helped me through my college process. Thank you College Wise, for helping me during the past 2 years.

I had Tanner Reive as a tutor for my SAT testing, through each session, I was able to expand on topics that I really needed help with and he helped me with very clear explanations for the correct answers. I took SAT for the second time and saw an increase from my previous score.

I have four children who have different needs and Jon was able to effectively communicate and help all of them. Most importantly for me, he demonstrated an understanding of each of my children’s unique learning issues in a way that was extremely spot on and useful. My oldest 3 daughters used his help for math Acts and did very well, and my youngest son is having some issues understanding chemistry in tenth grade, and Jon has simplified the material for him and helped him to grasp it better. I highly recommend Jon! He is detail oriented and caring.

We are grateful for Brenna Heintz's exceptional guidance and support as our daughter's Collegewise college counselor. Her strategic approach and open communication played a pivotal role in our daughter's acceptance to her top-choice university through Early Decision (ED). Brenna's personalized strategies and understanding of our daughter's strengths resulted in a compelling application, maximizing her acceptance chances. She effectively bridged communication gaps, listened attentively to our concerns, and provided valuable advice to nurture a healthy parent-child relationship and drive our daughter's personal growth. We highly recommend Brenna Heintz as a college counselor. Her dedication, professionalism, and ability to connect with both students and parents make her an invaluable asset in navigating the college admissions journey. She is a true lifesaver for busy parents, providing exceptional support to students and families alike.

Karen Kimball was a great college advisor! She was very kind and encouraging. Moreover, she always made time to help me whenever I needed even if it was last minute. With her help, I got into one of my top schools!

I had the pleasure of working with Jon for several years in high school and college, and I must say, he is incredibly knowledgeable across many subjects. Jon helped me achieve success in my AP Physics and Math classes. He begins by explaining the concepts of the problems and giving a crash course on them before working through the problems with you. He genuinely wants his students to understand the bigger picture, not just how to solve particular problems so that they can apply their knowledge independently. Moreover, Jon is a great person. He instills confidence in his students and is genuinely interested in seeing them learn and succeed. After some sessions, he even went as far as sending follow-up emails with explanations of problems we did not cover or key concepts and takeaways that he wanted to emphasize before exams. Jon's tutoring helped bridge gaps in my knowledge and gave me the confidence I needed to pursue a mechanical engineering degree in college. Even as I navigated challenging college courses, I reached out to Jon because I never found a tutor as good as him in high school. I highly recommend Jon to anyone in need of a tutor. You will not regret working with him!

Jon has helped my older sister and I at physics in high school as well as engineering at Duke University. He has recently helped tutor my brother as a student at the University of Virgina as well. He is a brilliant tutor but more importantly an empathic and supportive person.
