Dedicated to reversing the causes of lower back pain, Core Balance Training is an online program that uses core activation and movement retraining to help people improve posture and escape the back pain cycle. Students first learn how to activate the spinal support muscles of their deep core by connecting to their 'Core Anchors', then how to apply that connection to movement. Students are guided through a system of core-based movement, resulting in a healthy core connection and supported spine in activities of daily life.Core Balance Training was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ryan Peebles, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has committed over 20 years to better understanding and reversing the root causes of chronic lower back pain. After overcoming his personal struggles with back problems, Dr. Ryan now guides others to get out of pain.The 12-week program can be completed by all ages and fitness levels. It begins with simple core-based movements, progressing to functional and complex movements over a 3 month period. All movements become healthy for the spine, allowing students to return to higher level activities, such as fitness and sport without pain. Other outcomes are improved function and reduced or eliminated lower back pain. Because the solution focuses on education and movement retraining, the results of Core Balance Training are typically lifelong.

This is genuine help for the rest of your life - the answer is in me and what an amazing gift it has been to learn about this. the instruction is teaching in a way that you can comprehend and if you have a question they are quick to respond with explanation and encouragement. it's unlike anything I've found in seeking help with my back pain and my quality of life is immeasurably better because of CBT!

Dr. Ryan’s personal experience was very similar to my own. I was really scared of movement and I felt like in his lessons he understood. I also really benefited from the Q&A’s.

Please pass on my thanks to Dr.Ryan. As a former pro rugby player and after 2 back operations and 20 years of issues the CBT program has been amazing for me. For me the real difference is the attention to detail of his program. The little details in terms of positioning during the exercises was the game changer. Made all the difference and changed my day to day life! It’s still a work in progress but I am now back snowboarding and SUP surfing. CBT is part of my daily routine/life.
