Spend all this money for sunglasses and can clearly tell the frames broke from being weak and you all won’t cover them under warranty

Issues started with my first attempt at Ordering. Had a full receipt, and a set delivery date they’d arrived at a Sunglass Hut for in store pick-up. Go in day after delivery date. Not there. Waited a week and went back. No record of my order. Called costa. Nightmare process, said they never created my order. Had to start all over. Meanwhile it has been 4 weeks since my order. Just got the sunglasses and don’t love them. They are very heavy. Heavier than any other pair I own(weighed them on digital baking scale). I know they’ll sleep off my face when I sweat. I don’t feel like the measurements are accurate compared to my other glasses and the measurements that company has on their site. Wish I read more of these reviews before spending the $400.

I bought my sunglasses from coasta because I liked the way they looked and that they have a lifetime warranty. Now that they no longer offer lifetime warranty what's the point in spending alot of money with no support for them even though they don't cost that much to make. I wouldn't waste my money on these sunglasses again.

Costa has gone down hill horribly in recent years. They used to be known for great products and good warranty. I now have 3 pairs of glasses where the rubber and nose piece have warn away. I finally got annoyed enough to reach out to their warranty department for the youngest pair (well within warranty) and sent in pictures. I received an email from a "supportus@..." address stating that the rubber and plastics are not covered and instead they would give me a discount on making another purchase. I attempted to respond, but the email bounces saying undeliverable. I searched their website - no other addresses. I reached out via the "contact us" link on their website and was able to chat with someone who really didn't have a clue and gave me the same address. They clearly don't have Cust Svc any more and don't stand by their products. Update: Costa read this review and asked for me to email them - address provided bounced back as undeliverable again. Yup... review still stands even more than before.

Denied warranty right out of the box. Costa never even looked at them. Out of warranty? There’s a 2-year warranty! Out of business is more like it. Oakley, Smith, and Zeal are all great brands that actually stand behind their product. Since getting bought out, it looks like Costa has turned into a scummy corporation.

I love my Costa sunglasses, but the only reason I kept them in my arsenal was because my little brother told me how good your warranty was through the years that he owned Costas (he stated he has no less than 4 pairs in circulation when we went to IMS last month). I'm going to go ahead & find a pair of shades that don't shed their grips / rubber components. I've found plenty of other products that cover that portion of performance, which in terms of sunglasses is rather basic. The most continuous issue I've had since purchasing my first pair 10+ years ago has been the rubber components. I'm on my third pair (lost one pair altogether) and every pair has had the nose piece fall off altogether AND the gripper portion that casts over my ears flops loose. I guess my sweat is acidic & y'all don't cover wear from sweat! These lenses are beautiful (other than a scratch that I put there about a week after they arrived). Y'all make a great product, BUT when I do my review, the highlights will include how poorly the rubber components stay adhered to the base plastic & no coverage under the heavily touted 'Limited Warranty'. I'm honest to a fault & will pretty much need to cut & paste from this email so I can post to your website in the near future. Let me know asap if your response in this email changes, but I certainly appreciation your prompt Warranty statement...

5th pair of Costas and the last. Warranty doesn't exist. Broken arm on my Saltbreaks and they won't repair. I even asked to by another arm and have it fixed myself. They tell me to by another pair 50% off. Since they sold they're shit. To much competition offering better value these days so I'md done.

We have been loyal Costa customers for years. Since we enjoy fishing, I’ve always considered Costa sunglasses the perfect gift for my husband. Every time a new model is released, I purchase it as soon as I can from your stores. However, we haven’t had good luck with the last two pairs, neither my husband’s nor mine. The arms of the sunglasses loosen very quickly, and the lenses got scratched. I requested warranty service, as both pairs are less than three months old and I had planned to send them in for repair. To my surprise, the response from the warranty service stated that neither pair is covered. I find this very hard to believe, how can sunglasses that are under three months old not be covered by warranty? Although I no longer have the receipt, the purchases can clearly be traced through my credit card. In the past, I have successfully submitted sunglasses for repair without issues. Loyal customers should be valued, not discouraged. I hope this matter can be reconsidered.
