This is my edit after Costa reached out to me. They are replacing the faulty lens. Thank you. I have multiple pairs of Costa Sunglasses. I recently tried to send in a new set that I bought in Maui, Hawaii. Less than 2 years ago. I quickly noticed that the left lens seemed distorted. Very odd as the optical quality in my other pairs is absolutely amazing. I put the glasses away in their original and meant to send them to Costa for repair/replacement. The warranty card in the case clearly states that they have a Limited Lifetime warranty for workmanship problems. I filed a warranty claim with Costa 3 days ago and was told that the glasses would not be covered under the warranty as I did not have the original receipt of purchase. I did send pictures of glasses, case, the original sticker with store and purchase price. The warranty card does not have a requirement printed on that says you have to save your original receipt. So there is a lesson learned save your receipt. They will not honor a warranty without it. I asked the in house chat to at the minimum inspect the glasses and see the distortion for themselves as this is a flawed lens. Perhaps offer to send me a replacement left lens. I am very disappointed. The other 2 repair claims I filed were also rejected. On these 2 they stated that the glasses no longer had parts available. Fair enough. Both were great sets of glasses and the Luke’s are still wearable, only the rubber on arms is coming unglued but the lenses are perfect. The Corbina’s were absolutely the best glasses I have ever had but now has a cracked lens (no fault of Costa) and the rubber on the arms is falling apart 6-7 year old glasses, so very reasonable. I understand that if parts are not available then parts aren’t available. But fix a distorted lens. Costa is known for optical quality.

Was great customer service, the person I had took care of me and helped me tremendously!

Had a problem with an old pair of sunglasses and getting through to customer service. I filed a complaint and immediately got a resolution and couldn’t be happier. Very much appreciated

I purchased these sunglasses 2-3 years ago. I had never heard of Costa before. I usually purchase 'Rider' sunglasses for $40 and use them as everyday (I'm a cyclest). I was informed at these sunglasses are made from plastic from the ocean. How amazing it that? These were the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I dropped them a dozen times or so. Not even a scratch or imperfection on the frames nor lenses. Let me talk to you about the lenses. They're glass. The polarized coating on these are extremely durable. They will not come off or fade from wiping or everyday use. Say goodbye to buying a new pair every other year. You can wear these in the rain while driving and actually be able to see better. These were the best sunglasses I have ever bought. I unfortunately lost them or they got stolen out of my car while on deliveries. I will not lie, I purchased these onsale. I'm saving up to purchase a new pair to replace the pair that got lost or stolen. I hope my review helps you make your decision easier. Bought 11/05/22

Last December I contacted Costa Del Mar for a repair service for some of my husband's glasses, clearly understanding that it was not a warranty. Send images that showed the problem. I received a communication with an estimate of $85.57, which I accepted and proceeded to make the payment immediately. I sent the glasses and two weeks ago I received them without proper repair. After they did not carry out the repair, I have not received a credit for the money paid. I have been a client of Costas del Mar for more than 25 years and we have over 6 different models of glasses. But now I won't recommend them anymore.

Sunglasses are of great quality and fit perfectly. Communication regarding my order was prompt and shipping was pretty quick. Can’t wait to wear them in the Philippines in a month.

Excellent service
