CubeSmart Self StorageReviews of cubesmart.com

The Cube Smart on Monroe St. Mi. The Representative phoned about my unit looked locked, but it was not, so ran down there to see what she was talking about. And it was not locked, After I checked the unit, nothing was amiss. I did make sure it was locked. Talked to representative before I left and thanked her, she was very pleasant and kind

I'm so very disappointed with my short vehicle storage.I have a very classic vehicle that I have taken excellent care of in memory of my 23 year old Son who I lost tragically in 2019 the car is in honor of his memory but I stored it there around May 5, 2025 picked it up on July 4,2025 and after going to several collision shops the damage to my door panel and paint is running up in cost I've made several attempts to get some assistance from Cubesmart and no one will return or follow up with me 😞

LOCATION I RENT A SPACE WAS DAMAGED BY CONCRETE DUST DURING FLOOR RENOVATION & DUST GOT INTO UNIT & ON PERSONAL PROPERTY. PER CUBESMART CUSTOMER SERVICE ( WHICH IS A JOKE ) UNLESS HAVE INSURANCE NOTHING CAN NOR WILL BE DONE AS CUBESMART NOT LIABLE NOR RESPONSIBLE. LOCATION MGMT. WAS MADE AWARE & ONLY OFFER MADE WAS TO HAVE FLOOR SCRAPED IN AN EFFORT TO REMOVE SET-IN CONCRETE. ALSO FOUND OUT THAT CUBESMART " OWNS " ALL TENANT PROPERTY ONCE LEASE IS SIGNED & IF A TENANT HAS A LEGITIMATE DISPUTE & DOES NOT PAY MONTHLY RENT THEY ARE PROMPTLY LOCKED OUT & CANNOT ACCESS RENTED UNIT ( S ) & PROPERTY ( IES ) ARE SEIZED & SOLD TO SETTLE ACCOUNT AS POSSIBLE PLUS TENANT IS STILL TAKEN TO COURT. IT IS SHAMEFULL THIS, OR ANY, COMPANY, WOULD TREAT ANYONE WITH DISRESPECT & TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE LIKE ME WHO IS A SENIOR & HAS DISABILITIES & RESIDES IN A ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. I WAS ABLE TO GET ASSISTANCE WITH A VISITING MANAGER & GET MUCH AS POSSIBLE OF THE CONCRETE DUST REMOVED. BUT AS WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE MUCH OF MY BELONGINGS TO GAIN ACCESS TO REST OF UNIT DUST STILL REMAINS & WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED WHEN TIME COMES TO MOVE OUT

Sheila was outstanding. She answered every question and helped us to find the perfect size unit. She went way above and beyond over the phone and in-person. St. James location is very clean and well kept. Highly recommend this location and Sheila!

Great service by Nanette Claiborne from 2990 Cropsey Ave Brooklyn NY 11214. Her customer service etiquette and caring nature made me feel happy and secure with my choice and choosing your storage facility as my home.

Worst experience ever. Paid for about 5months of storage. They deny my access two months in for no reason. Imagine.

Michelle at the Elizabethtown, Ky CubeSmart Storage Center was very helpful. She helped me sign up the two units I reserved online. it was great to actually have someone there at the storage location and she went out of her way to make me feel I was appreciated for using her Center. While helping me Michelle was confronted by a woman whose unit cost had gone up and she wanted the lock drilled out because she didn't have her key and was very unhappy about everything. Michelle handled the situation like a pro. She de-escalated the situation, apologized to me and after finishing what she had already started with me went out and opened her unit. I was really impressed with Michelle, and I am glad I picked CubeSmart.

the manager who Works here likes to instill fear in all of the customers about them.Having to move out in forty eight hours which is which is form of abuse and not right at all even if the customer doesn't do anything. I know a few people who have now gotten kicked out for nothing. the only thing is that she doesn't like them for what ever reason. Definitely run and go some were else
