One of the worst and unreliable delivery services in the world. I will never use them again, had two bad experiences with this service, they take a 5 -7-day delivery and delay it for month and provide lies and pathetic excuses such as customs delays which doesn't even correspond with what the tracking says. They can't even provide any useful information either. My package is still missing, and it was booked on the 12th of Sep 2023, still not delivered, and "this is what they call an express service"!

Similar experience to everyone who lost…
Similar experience to everyone who lost their parcels. My parcel was from the USA. Tagged as delivered but it was not. No one knocked on our door on that day, we are all home. Cars are in the front yard. Contacted DAI post, sent us proof of delivery photo which is a box placed on top of our mailbox which is completely hidden from sight of the public, but then it wasn’t there. It’s very odd that it was hidden by the delivery driver but it still went missing. We contacted customer service they can’t give us any details on why the driver didn’t knock or hand it to someone, our theory was driver took a photo as a proof then took the package with him. We never had any parcels missing, we receive numbers of parcels from online shopping and this is the first time this happened. We never heard of Dai couriers before. We filed a police report and we are determined to get the driver fined.

Without a doubt
Without a doubt, the worst company in Australia. Twice they didn't deliver my parcel, saying it was an incorrect address when the address was correct. I still don't have it. Awful, awful company. No doubt foreign owned.

Usable, but definetly wouldn't recommend
I just recently ordered two packages and they were the courier. They took quite long for the first package to arrive (18 days since order), but still wasn't too bad. Then the second package, got stuck somewhere for 2 whole weeks (btw i had both both packages at the exact same time). By then, it had been a whole month since i had ordered the package, so i decided to contact them. First was email. Their cutomer service ism't bad, as they responded generally quickly, but they didn't really tell me anything. After talking over email for quite a while, i decided to call them. It was basically the same thing. It had a 10 minute wait, and the call was probably 20-30 minutes in total, and during the whole call they told me everything that i already knew. Then, a few days later, i get an email that my package was lost in transit, and that they couldn't do anything about recourse or refunds. Thankfully, the business that I ordered from did offer this, so i could get my package again. Overall, they are a real courier and not a scam, but not really far from one. I wouldn't reccomend to use this courier, but if you must, it is very doable.

Lost my parcel. Poor customer service
As seems to be a common theme with other reviews - my parcel arrived into Australia from the USA quite quickly and then passed customs before 3 weeks with no update and then disappearing. Are dai post stealing parcels? Sure looks like this way. Gave me a generic response and then deemed it as “lost” and “closed”. Like others, will be reporting them and taking legal action. This seems to be a common theme with them - multiple reviews with the same story

How can I avoid DAI Post getting involved in my parcel delivery?
I'd never heard of DAI Post until the last 5 weeks. As a long time and very frequent online shopper, I didn't realise how lucky that was. I hope to never hear of them again.
I'm not sure what their relationship is to the major global carriers or locally with Australia Post (there seems to be some tie up) but what they excel in is NOT delivering.
While I can get parcels big and small from all corners of the world to my door in a matter of days or a week (even with minimal postage cost on low value items) these guys are so far up to 5 weeks for small 250g package from the US. Other equivalent packages from the US will be in my hands in around 4 days.
With DAI Post, even when a notification comes from Aus Post that they know a package is incoming and has arrived in country, another 2 weeks passes. When the package says it has reached my local area, another 5 days passes before an insulting "exciting" "Counting down to delivery" email telling me to get ready for my delivery as my local delivery partner will have it to me soon!
How about you just deliver in a reasonable time where I don't need to "count down" and it just turns up along with the other dozen parcels I received this week?
The only question is - how do we AVOID our deliveries somehow going to these guys? I know it's not the sender or receivers choice.
