Today I received results for CILS cittadinanza B1 and extremely happy that not only I passed but did it with excellent marks. I have been studying Italian from 0 for 6 months as a part of the group and then individually with Nicholas and Selene from Dante. They were instrumental in helping me to learn Italian and prepare for the exam. Before going with Dante I was trying to do it on my own and just with an Italian tutor. The biggest benefit of the Dante program is the structure, materials, amazing teachers and focus on the exam and your goal.

Excelente curso online
Excelente curso online. Me sirvió para aprobar el examen B1 de ciudadanía. Hice el curso intensivo A1, A2 y B1 en grupo, y luego preparation individual solamente para el examen. Es un curso muy intensivo. La plataforma es muy completa con muchísimos ejercicios para practicar y consolidar lo que se aprende en las clases. Las clases son puntuales y dinámicas; no hay feriados, siempre hay clases. Hay que estudiar todos los días para poder seguir el curso. Los profesores son nativos, muy buenos y profesionales en su labor. En particular destaco a Augusto Piovani, a Selene Picozzi y Chiara Greci por sus excelentes estilos de enseñanza, siendo rigurosos, amistosos, respetuosos y pacientes. Jenny, la coordinadora excelente siempre, contestando todas las preguntas a la brevedad y ayudando amablemente en todo lo posible.

The course Cittadinanza doesn't prepare you for the test!
The course was supposed to prepare us for the test B1 for citizenship, but the whole course when I asked about preparation, the answer was "non ti preoccupare", like just follow the course and all will be good. In the end of the course my level is A1-A2. We didn't practice grammar, we rather were studying lots of useless words.
- the teachers themselves were good, responsive and very kind, the last teacher is adjusting exercises on request
- but the structure of the course is not done well, it doesn’t focus on important things, like learning grammar better, there are no exercises that are designed for the test. It’s only by the initiative of a teacher or a student, we did exercises that involve practices closer to the reality of the exam. Otherwise, we learnt words and topics that are unnecessary. Rather this time could be dedicated to usage of articles, congregations. Only when we asked, teacher needed to prepare extra documents, extra explanations, which was relevant for all the students, but it wasn’t part of the course.
- the level of language is very different in the group. Some already have Spanish and it’s different compare to other students, so the dynamic of the group becomes not coherent.
- Through several months we had 3-4 teachers, and also students were changing, which was distracting for the dynamic of the group and the pace.

Unfortunately, your course attendance has not been conducive to your learning process, with absences exceeding 50% of the entire course you may not have experienced the full curriculum designed to prepare students thoroughly for B1 level. This could be the reason why you currently believe your level is A1-A2.

I was trapped!
Hi, I am very disappointed with you guys. Got my money and I couldn’t getting in the classes because I was trapped. The person that did helps me online gave the wrong time. I was VERY clear that I live in Los Angeles and I only could take the classes after 7pm LA time. They NEVER refund my money. SHAME ON YOU GUYS!

Un accidente que me llevó a buen puerto
Llegué a Danteinlinea por accidente, buscaba estudiar en la Dante de Bs As y como el logo era igual, me confundí. Cuando me dí cuenta de esto, ya había pagado el curso entero y elegí confiar (no me quedaba opción). Debido a temas personales, fui cambiando de grupo y formatos en varias oportunidades lo que tuvo pros y contras: conocí muchos profesores (todos nativos lo cual aporta muchísimo) algunos me gustaron más que otros. Selene, Gabrielle, Lorenza y Alessandro me parecieron excelentes ( y conocí unos 6 profesores más). Dentro de mi cursada iban cambiando los docentes también. La contra de esto es que no tuve un seguimiento personalizado, era imposible ya que ningún docente me concia. Así que me sentí un poco sola en el proceso de aprendizaje, pero creo que en gran parte tiene que ver con mis cambios de grupo, entiendo que para otros que cursan con un mismo docente funciona mejor. Ana Peralta siempre estuvo disponible y atenta a resolver cualquier problema, se mostró siempre disponible a ofrecerme el formato de cursada que mejor se adaptara a mi necesidad!! La plataforma funciona bien, los contenidos son atractivos, las clases muy dinámicas y agradables! Mi experiencia fue muy buena felizmente! En 8 meses estuve lista para rendir el CILS cittadinanza y lo aprobé con muy buena calificación. Aconsejó acompañar el estudio con podcast, vídeos, series, etc. Para mí fue clave esto último!
