I’ve been wearing and recommending darn tough socks for about 5 years. The socks are very high quality and extremely comfortable. I brought two pairs of darn tough micro crew mid weight hiking socks on a 7 month trip around South America - wearing and airing. Even after extreme wear, the socks are still great years later. Their lifetime warranty is also fabulous and they have great customer service via email.

Terrible customer service. I received a pair of socks last week , bad bubbling on socks . Sent email to them and DM on Instagram . No reply ! I am going on a trip tomorrow so that was the point of ordering the socks . How do you guys offer free replacement for life if you can’t even reply to your customers in a timely manner ?

When walking the Appelatian Trail in 2018 I discovered the Darn Tough brand. I bought two pairs in Franklin and still used them after the AT when back in Sweden. In 2023 one pair was worn out and Darn Tough helped exchanging it for a new one. The year after that they helped exchanging the second pair. Now in the end of 2026 the 2023 pair is worn down on both heels. Wrote Darn Tough a warranty request and got no answer. After a reminder they exchanged this pair also. So it seems it's really liftime warranty!! Thanks for the service.

Love the socks, but a year in and both pairs have failed. Triggering the waranty hasn't been the smooth process I hoped for. It’s been 10 days since I contacted them with the issue, and 6 emails, 3 photos and 2 pairs of cut up socks (at their request) and I’m still awaiting credit so as to be able to reorder. Will edit with the outcome, but currently considering wearing my chopped socks as i’m running out of options!

I love love love my socks. I'm in Canada, and the one time I did get a hole in a pair, I sent them in to the Canadian place that deals with lifetime replacements and I got back a lovely pair!
