I was due a referral check from a company and given the option of either printing out my own check (which seemed odd given I can't print double-sided) or use Deluxe E-check for deposit to my bank account. I opted for the direct deposit and carefully read all the instructions. NOWHERE did it clearly, prominently display the fees for using their service. The fee was either $4.99 or .0199%, whichever is greater. In my case, the fee deducted from my check was $14! Outrageous and definitely not indicated in any clearly visible area.

I place an order for new checks because my bank was bought by PNC bank. The checks came back with the old bank logo and the old bank routing and account number. I was charged $141 for 100 duplicate checks. When I called customer service, I was told to take the checks into my new bank and have THEM call to arrange for a reorder. I did that and my new bank charged me $26 for the exact same order that Deluxe robbed me for $141 SO if I could give you NO STARS, I would.

Useless 41/2 weeks still no checks. There is no customer service. They had the cheek to answer back that they have excellent customer service. Hey deluxe checks check your rating its 1.6. What does that tell you?

One star is too much, we have tried the program and it did not work for us, since we stopped the service we are getting non stop emails, we have called, email them to stop and NOTHING. While the order process is reasonably easy, especially if you had a previous order, The cost is horrendous! $225.00 for 160 checks! That is $1.41 per check. Shipping was $25. Nuts. This will be the last order with Deluxe. They caught me in a weak moment when I needed them.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. They can't even consistently do their own basic service which is disburse money. They only have excuses and ZERO resolution is anything like a reasonable time frame. They lie and pass the buck and make excuses while their phone and chatting and email reps only try to make themselves feel better. It's all about their feelings and not about business and getting the money disbursed in a timely fashion. It's never their fault and they'll always submit a ticket. The last rep spoke to me about the requirements of and SLA as though that somehow cost them money or had some kind of repurcussions. Anyone who's been in business for more than 10 minutes knows that an SLA is a hope for schedule of events. I personally think they are a bunch of theivs and con artists looking to screw anyone they can and take no responsibility for their mistakes.

I get security checks and they always rip when you pull them out there paper is way to thin. And there mail fees and nothing but a ripoff. $39 from JERSEY to Florida.

One star, only because I couldn't give it zero, and still write a review. The "check" says "check preview," and I don't see any way to print it. Check's only good for one look, so now I can't go that route anymore. I could use Deposit Service, at a cost of no less than $4.99 - FOR A $1.10 VENDING MACHINE REFUND! What a bunch of BS. It's a small loss. Lesson learned.
