I've used Dog Vacay to make reservations with a sitter to check on my cat. I'll never go anywhere else, because I was able to find someone with a background check who was close by. She's the best!

Another excellent stay with Robin, this time longer than usual for my pup. She kept the updates frequent and as always, took excellent care of Belle! She will not disappoint!

Instead of a cage our sitter let our dogs sleep with them on the bed to comfort them. She stayed in touch and sent pictures.

I say do your research because my first tine using DogVacay I left my mini Dachshund with a younger couple who were very nice but who upon pickup seemed to be using the service as a major source of income. A pack of dogs came running to the door, trampling my Reba. Lesson learned. After that, I was wise enough to ask the right questions, for example how many dogs booked at once, sizes of dogs who will be there at the same time, etc. Look around when you go for a meet and greet; I don't mean that you should be intrusive but you know what to look for. Once I learned more about home boarding works, I found a home away from home with people I can trust and who my dog totally loves. I am a dedicated repeat customer. DogVacay is the way to go when you have to board your best friend. I wouldn't think of a kennel. Just study up and you're sure to be satisfied.

Christie is very good with Mia. I am very comfortable leaving her with Christie. This is the second time I have used her services and Mia was so excited when she realized where she was. She loves being with her new doggie friends.

What a super experience we had on our recent road trip because DogVacay saved the day. We had several stops over the two weeks on the road, and Kaji was usually welcome. But In Tucson we were gathering with friends from all over the country! We were on a road trip with our furry friend riding happily along. And where we stayed for the reunion didn't allow pets. With the help of Dogie Vacay website and in person experienced problem solvers, we were able to land the perfect spot for our little one... his first time away. We dropped him three nights and picked him up to continue on our merry way where he was welcomed and much less shy after his warm intro to being a guest!!
