I have met many new friends and clients through Dogvacay. I have also increased my business dramatically. When I call Dogvacay there is always someone there to resolve my concerns. Everyone that I have spoken to at Dogvacay has been helpful and they always sound happy! Good job.

Everything with DogVacay has been great with the exception of one thing: follow through. I was contacted by DogVacay for a few different reasons, but when I submitted the requested information, I never heard anything about it again. We were supposed to have some type of Google listing that I waited for a verification code in the mail for. Once I provided that, I was told I'd be updated when the site launched. This was at least three months ago. Still haven't heard anything. I was also asked to be part of he Pro program where they take pictures of your apartment and whatnot. Never heard anything back about that either.

My experience (Dogvacay host for two and a half years) with Dogvacay has been wonderful. These are people who care about pets. Everyone is supportive; providing ideas, suggestions, technical information and encouragement. Any issues I have had have been swiftly handled and handled well. Service and loyalty seem to be paramount. I tell everyone I can about Dogvacay.

We've been both a client and a host with Dogvacay.com. We found them while searching for our own sitter. In using the service for our pups, we then became hosts ourselves. Dogvacay.com is very easy to use. You can navigate around the site easily and without any confusion. The customer service that Dogvacay has is outstanding! As being both clients and hosts, we've called and emailed the customer service department many times, that they've alway been very friendly and eager to help. For emails, they've always responded quickly with an answer. I highly recommend using Dogvacay.com for any pet sitting needs. They do pretty good background checks and go through stages to become hosts. We are so happy to have found Dogvacay, both for our dogs, but also so we can help others, as they have helped us!

I am a sitter and there are a number of issues: The website is confusing - messages that are not organized in a way that makes them easy to find. Rates are static and don't have the ability for inputting various rates for puppies, holiday stays, etc. Instead, there is a negotiation on a case-by-case basis which is not effective or efficient (for both sitters and owners who should know what what they are getting when they review potential sitters. Customer service has never really helped me with anything. I get a standard, almost scripted response and nothing has ever been resolved.

Well I was very happy with how Dogvacay operates , I was actually super happy every time I called you guys were very supportive and helpful and then you dv open a host in my complex at 0.3 miles from me, meaning 3 blocks away from me and I felt like sssss...sight . And on top of that he was my customer and also is $5 cheaper than me. I am not changing but I feel is not the Same

Working for a year with DogVacay there has been some good and bad. The good is they handle all IT, website, billing and payment functions. They are 100% on top of billing and payments. They provide a great platform to build and tweak your own site. The bad is that their support for host families is slow and time consuming. We run our business as flawless and exceptional as possible because it is a reflection on us. We wish DogVacay did the same. Especially during off hours when they use a call service and a few times a person able to make quick decisions could not be located. Their HQ is on the west coast and their business hours (when they are fully staffed) is not conducive to east coast times.

While we do offer 24/7 support, during the late night hours we have a blended team of DogVacay Associates working on cases and a support team whom, if the other associates are on another call, answers and quickly takes a message for us to return to ensure we are handling all contacts. If it's an emergency they will then be able to reach out to have our Trust and Safety team get involved if need be. If the call is not an emergency, you may hear back from us that same night via email and/or by phone early the next morning. I have found being a host on DogVacay to be a great experience. I have always had all the support I needed to run a solid business. The questions I've had are easily and professionally answered every time. The website keeps me organized and protected. I have an ally and business partner and never feel alone. I also recognize their consistent awareness of growth and change, as they are regularly learning, making changes and upgrading accordingly.
