I joined Dutch.com on a Sunday night on a whim when my kitten had diarrhea and I wanted a second opinion. With a coupon, I paid $8.80/month for the annual subscription. I got an appt within an hour. The vet was knowledgeable and helpful. She wrote a detailed report and had one medication and a stool testing kit available for my purchase immediately. She had another medication called into a speciality pharmacy near me bc it had to be made specially for my kitten’s tiny weight. I had options thanks to the vet. The whole process couldn’t have been simpler, and was worth every penny.

Best investment I’ve made for my cats. I was hesitant but needed help asap for my cat that had an upper respiratory infection. I spoke with a vet same day. Was given a prescription, with the option to transfer it to my local pharmacy for a low fee. You can even do the transfers on the website your self. Today I have another appt for my other cat who has ear mites. I’m definitely confident in this service and so happy I found it. They even have someone text you letting you know your prescription is ready at your local pharmacy. So cool! Do it! Don’t even think twice! Last note I hope you guys get a iOS app soon.

I had spend a lot of money taking my dog to the vet for even small things like if he just saw vet on Monday (office Fee) if he needed refill on thurs had to bring him back another office fee in addition to cost of med, and nope they made it hard for online pharmacy (they would not do electronic had to do paper rx) I love Dutch get appt when I want, also pharmacy on hand, and 1 cost for up to 3 pets 1 fee. The vets are personal and care for your animals. Btw I have 2 cats who was also covered. I could go on and on about the wonderful treatment from the vets . Especially since I have a elderly dog

My dog puked in the car and my trainer advised me to go to the vet. No blood in the puke. It was Saturday and her normal vet doesn't work weekends. It seemed excessive to go to the emergency room for what looked like motion sickness so I booked a vet advice call to check my head within 45 minutes of the puke and monitored her for any additional symptoms and got her to drink. I got Dr. Noel Berger. he was late to the call and immediately had a negative tone. He said my camera wasn't on when it definitely was and when I asked him what I should do because I knew my camera was on he said I shouldn't have booked a call I needed to get her to a in person vet. He refused to explain his rationale and hung up on me. When I messaged him asking him to explain his rationale because it didn't make sense, I've had dogs for years and sometimes they get queasy and puke in the car and I'd never had someone say they needed to go to the ER for that before so it was really weird. He accused me of harassment and refused to answer. I have not met a vet who was worse at customer service or explaining concepts. It was a very unpleasant experience. All the other vets are amazing, it's unfortunate Dutch made the choice to hire this guy. Update - Ariel the person who replied called the next business day and asked how to see it right.

Dutch is a responsible online vet; easy to schedule zooms with doctors and obtain diagnoses, treatments and prescriptions. I have been using them for several months now for my aging cat who requires daily medication and will continue to use them as my online vet service for her. I recommend them to round out your in-person vet treatment services which can take hours of waiting and commuting, be stressful to the pets and can be costly. In-person vets are needed for annual exams and very serious emergencies and issues. But for non-life-threatening consults and diagnoses, Dutch is a great, quick and inexpensive resource, just a click away.
