Dear Sandra: You would be correct if you (do not) allow our ear plugs to SEAL your EARS. So now, let's insert them (correctly), let them seal your ear canals and you'll be pleasantly SHOCKED!!! They'll block out his snoring. You'll see!!! Sandra, please READ the instruction card that came with your order and please follow exactly the instructions below for preparing and inserting this ultra-high blocking ear plug. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement. 4. If you have a use or need for ULTRA-HIGH BLOCKING EAR PLUGS, then insert ours and be surprised!!!! I've tried them several times, watched the youtube videos on how to insert and remove. I've followed all instructions. Just doesn't work for me. Quies work better for me. The search continues...

Our magnificent Beeswax (soft and moldable) ear plugs will BLOCK OUT much more sound than any other ear plugs, but you have to insert them so that they SEAL the ears totally!!! I was not expecting the texture to be tacky like clay, which after several attempts to insert properly into the ear began to remain on the fingers. The idea of daily inserting and removing a clay-like substance from my ears was not appealing. Even after reading the instructions and making several attempts I could not achieve the stated sound-proof seal everyone was raving about. My expectations were high after reading the great reviews, sadly I was disappointed and have given up on this product.

The abundance of "great reviews" are legitimate!!! As an honorable company we invite ALL comments!!! Sarah, 99 out of 100 (new users) figure out how to insert the ear plug on their first insertion; but do not fret, for we are with you (all the way) until you get this working for you perfectly. Our ear plug is made from Beeswax and it is different from the usual Foam ear plugs. Sarah, our soft and mouldable ear plug must first be (worked or kneaded) between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds, just prior to insertion, to make it (soft and mouldable), and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug (slightly tacky), so that it "stays securely in the ear canal" and SEALS IT! Sarah, after you've made it soft and mouldable, then push and flatten it (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening until you feel the ear plug seal the ear canal. Keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few seconds and it will seal well!, Please try again with the insertion as I described above and let me know how it worked for you. I have used the subject ear plug repeatedly, following prep instructions and I cannot get it to stay in the ear. First of all, it does not seal, no matter how long I knead it. It falls out of the ear after a short period of time. Note that I have lots of hair in the ear, which may the reason for lack of success, even if the hair is trimmed.

Dear Fgus: I understand the experience. Our ultra-high blocking ear plug has Pure Lanolin Oil in it to make to slightly (tacky) so that it will stay securely in the ear canal to SEAL IT and BLOCK OUT. From what you describe, it could be possible that an abundance of ( hair in the ear canal ) can prevent the ear plug from staying securely and keeping it's SEAL; but I think that the issue, is that the ear plug is (too large) for your ear. Fgus, try pinching off about 1/3rd and insert a slightly smaller ear plug. Be sure to Push and Flatten the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear opening (until you feel it seal). If it doesn't seal immediately, then keep your finger pressed against the ear plug for a few more seconds and it will surely SEAL! Fgus, your success if important to us. Disappointed from the get-go. Followed instruction to the T. And yet water seeped its way through and around, and down the ear chdannel, Time and time again, in just short period of time. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I would rate this product a neg-star if I could. 11-25-2015

Dear Richard: You "followed instructions to the T" ?????????????????????????? I'm not sure what instructions you followed, but you sure didn't follow ours correctly. Richard, our soft and mouldable ear plug must first be (worked or kneaded) between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds, just prior to insertion, to make it (soft and mouldable), and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug (slightly tacky), so that it "stays securely in the ear canal" and SEALS IT! Richard, after you've made it soft and mouldable, then push and flatten it (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening until you feel the ear plug seal the ear canal. Knead and insert ONE ear at a time. Once SEALED, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE for water to enter the inner ear!!!!!
