Using credits just for chatting is kinda crazy. It’d be better to sell memberships monthly or yearly for unlimited free chats and sharing pictures. Only use credits for videos and emails.

You are getting people to contemplate if the cost of 5000 credits can justify getting to know someone. Its an expensive experience, especially if the conversations don't bear any fruit. I believe by reducing the amount of credits to bring two people together will enlarge your usage.
