My trip to Iceland with them was extremely put together, very enjoyable, and extremely informative. While the eclipse was blocked by bad weather, it still was a fascinating experience. They brought in an astronomer who gave a lecture on eclipses and explained what was happening the day of, and was available the entire week for any questions. The local tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The hotels were great, and while most of our meals weren't included, they made sure that we would know where and when we would have our meals (especially as some of them were in more remote areas). I learned a lot about Iceland and got some amazing pictures.

Our Southeast Asia trip to Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam was exceptional from beginning to end. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and allowed us to visit all of the most important locations in each country within the time we had, without ever feeling rushed. Accommodations were excellent throughout the trip, and logistics were handled seamlessly. Local guides in each country were knowledgeable, professional, and offered personalized options that enhanced the experience and allowed for flexibility based on our interests. Overall, the trip was extremely well organized, ran smoothly at every stage, and provided outstanding value for the cost. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a comprehensive, well-curated introduction to Southeast Asia.

An unforgettable journey through Southeast Asia Our trip to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand was truly unforgettable and exceptionally well organized from start to finish. The guides were outstanding: knowledgeable, professional, and deeply passionate about sharing the history, culture, and traditions of their countries. Visiting places like ancient temples, historical landmarks, vibrant cities, and local communities was both enriching and inspiring. Each destination offered a perfect balance of learning, exploration, and cultural immersion. Lake District May 2025. Hotel Dunes was amazing . Just been fully renovated and beautiful. Food excellent staff lovely. Our coach driver Daren was excellent good sense of humour and extremely helpful. The coach itself however should have been scraped many years ago, very uncomfortable journey. I am 5'2" and my knees were firmly in back of seat in front. No trays to put water bottle, no elastic to hold book. Certainly nothing to charge phones it had been built long b4 phones were invented. If you dropped anything it was gone until you reached your destination. Called Eclipse to let them know. Got the usual not our fault we hire coaches & that's what we got. Just not interested they had your money take what you get.

We booked the August Erciyes annual Perceids shower trip. We ended up being the only two people on the trip (the original group was apparently rather large but most canceled after the Oct '23 attacks in Isreal and then the last family had a family member get sick, so they ended up canceling at the last minute). Surprisingly, ET continued with our trip even though many other tour companies would have likely canceled instead of dealing with just 2 people. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed meeting Cengiz and Uygar and learning more about Turkey. They also put us is touch with a local guide for Istanbul prior to our tour, who was also an excellent guide. All of our guides really have a love of their country and want to share it with others. Because we were the only 2 people on the tour, I'm not sure we can speak to a full-tour experience; however, I feel sure that they would treat all of their clients as we were treated - great conversation, interesting and unusual side trips, good food, and wonderful history and insight into the countries they visit. While we currently have other trips on our list that don't include eclipse-chasing, we would happily book another trip with them.

Fantastic experience!! We booked another eclipse trip as soon as we got home! The Eclipse Traveler crew & the local guides were great. They were all super friendly, unrushed, and very professional. The buses had lots of empty seats, so we could spread-out, or take a whole row to ourselves - sounds trivial, but it was nice. The itinerary was full with cool places to see, but also had downtime scheduled in. Each day a few of the travelers would stay back at the hotel instead of going on the daily excursions - if they needed a break. They booked a fantastic location for eclipse day! We had the whole place to ourselves with tons of rooms to spread out. Great food! Beer on demand. :) We went to Torreon, Mexico to view the total eclipse. (My photo of that eclipse was on the cover of Astronomy Magazine!) We LOVED the trip! We're heading to Egypt in 2027.
