I cannot recommend Education Worldwide.
I cannot recommend Education Worldwide. I was looking for a remote school for my child and chose Education Worldwide because of the positive reviews and high rating. Before I made the payment, communication was active and responsive. However, after I paid $389 for the first month of tuition, the communication changed completely. We paid before the beginning of the school year and expected clear instructions before September 1. I was told that someone would contact us before the start date and explain how everything worked. No one contacted us. We received no proper onboarding, no clear explanation of how classes were organized, how the platform worked, what the daily process would look like, or who would be responsible for helping us. When we finally accessed the lessons, I was very surprised by the academic level. The 8th-grade math program included material my child had already learned years earlier in elementary school. It looked more like basic review from grades 3–4 than an actual 8th-grade curriculum. I asked whether this was just a short review of previous years or the actual level of the program, and from the communication I understood that this was essentially what the math curriculum would be like. In my opinion, this would have caused my child to fall behind rather than make academic progress. Another important issue is that you cannot properly review the curriculum before paying. So parents are expected to pay first, and only then discover whether the academic level is appropriate. Because we had not actually started studying, received no proper support, and the program was not what I expected, I requested a full refund. The school’s response was that they usually do not refund payments. I found this unacceptable because the service was not properly provided, we did not use the program, and the quality of the curriculum did not match the grade level we paid for. After I explained that I would have to leave an honest online review and open a dispute with my bank, the school later said they could refund the payment. By that time, I had already opened a bank dispute. I then tried to resolve the matter peacefully and told them I could cancel the dispute if they simply refunded the payment directly. After that, they stopped responding again. As of now, I have not received my money back. In my experience, Education Worldwide provided poor communication, no proper onboarding, an academic program that did not match the grade level, and no responsible customer support after payment. We are now enrolled in another online school, and the difference in academic quality, platform organization, communication, and overall professionalism is very clear. I would not recommend Education Worldwide to other families. Please be careful before paying, especially if you care about real academic progress and reliable support.

Hi Svetlana, We are genuinely sorry that EduWW did not turn out to be the right fit for your family, and we respect your decision to continue your daughter’s education elsewhere. At the same time, we would like to clarify a few points for the sake of accuracy, as some parts of the experience described here do not fully reflect the support and solutions that were provided. Your daughter’s platform access and courses were activated before the agreed start date, a tutor was assigned, and an introductory meeting was arranged. The original meeting time was based on the location provided during enrollment, and once we were informed that your family was residing in a different time zone, the profile was updated and a new meeting was offered. Regarding the academic level, the material initially viewed was the introductory part of the Grade 8 course and was not representative of the full course progression. Once you raised concerns that the content might not be sufficiently challenging, our team offered a more advanced Grade 9 placement, the opportunity to review the complete syllabus before making the change, alternative academic options and an upgraded level of individual support at no additional cost. We completely understand that parents want to feel confident that a program is academically appropriate for their child, and we always try to find a suitable solution when concerns like these arise. In this case, however, the decision to withdraw was made before your daughter had attended lessons or had the opportunity to begin working with her tutor and progress through the course. Although the signed payment agreement states that tuition is non-refundable once enrollment and platform access have been activated, we nevertheless approved a full refund of the $389 payment as an exception and in the interest of resolving the matter fairly. The refund has now been processed from our side, and we hope it will be reflected in your account very shortly. We do not expect every educational model to be the right match for every family, and we fully respect that another school may better suit your preferences. What is important to us is that we remain fair in our dealings with families, respond when concerns are raised, and make a genuine effort to find solutions whenever possible. We sincerely wish you and your daughter every success with her new school and all the best for the future. Kind regards, The EduWW Team
