I ported to efax a cell number I wanted to keep alive while working abroad. I rarely used the service. But when it was time to port the number out, it was a nightmare. I would not touch efax services again, even with a 30-ft pole. Their customer service is non-existent, and their requirement to port your number to another provider is draconian. My current internet provider (Xfinity) refused to comply with their burdensome requirements, and I had to go to another mobile company (T-Mobile) with a higher service to finally port the number I initially ported in.

I've been with this service a long, long time. Over the years, as they have 'upgraded' their interface it has become more and more difficult to use. This morning I am trying to send a very important medical fax. First it wouldn't let me add this medical office as a contact. Only after multiple tries did I get a pop-up that I needed to add a first name to the contact info. So, I did that and composed the fax. I put in a message and attached the file that had the necessary forms. Then the 'Send Face' button greys out and I can't send the fax. So, i click the help button. One of the choices is to go to their support website and start a chat. But first you have to fill out a form. I do that but. But, when I click to 'submit' I get error messages that the form is not correct. It's simple form! It asks for name, account number, email and t his a radio button classifying your issue. I clicked 'technical'. I complete and file complex tax returns with greater ease than sending a fax. This shouldn't be! I'm starting to look for another fax provider.

I believe the browser that you are using could have issues with cache and cookies. If you clear cache and cookies on the browser you are using you may be able to access and send your fax without any issues or try to run your browser in Incognito Mode if possible in that case you are bypassing the cache and cookies on your browser. We always suggest using it. I also would like to mansion to you that you also have the ability to use your email address that you have set up on your email sending list to send faxes from please see below for information: Sending Faxes via e-mail; Create a new email. Enter the fax number in the email address field followed [email protected] using the format [email protected]. For example, [email protected] where 1 is the Country code to US or Canada, 888 is the Area code and 5551212 is the dialing number. Attach the documents to be faxed by selecting insert from the File menu. They will be faxed in the order they were attached. Click to send the email. You will receive a confirmation email when the fax has been delivered. Note: You can fax most file types by email. Please send an email to [email protected] from the primary billing email address on file with your account details, so we may address this matter for you. Many Thanks, eFax Support Team

Absolutely terrible experience. I purchased a monthly subscription, and there was a glitch in the system that wouldn't let me login once--there was a problem with their change password feature, which I corroborated to them with a video. I asked to cancel my subscription and requested a refund, given that I had never once been able to login. They refused to give me a refund and kept on trying to upsell me on services. I even asked them whether keeping my $9.95 was worth a poor review, and they seemed to think yes.
