I will never buy another EGO product. That is after I have purchase two lawn mowers, trimmers and blowers. First I have had to replace the trimmer twice. This second time, I only filled the thread 2 times. The third time it would not work. The automatic feed would not take the line. Now I am 78 years old and do my own lawn. I don't go slamming the product around. I am slow and careful. Today they called me again to say, sorry you have to buy a new part to the tune of almost $50.00. The warranty is out after 90 days. In 90 days I have only used the two threads. Also to add insult, Ego sells batteries that are two years old and then only give you a warranty for half that time as the batteries are already two years old when you get them. No, you cannot check battery dates as they are closed in the box, and who would think to check this anyway. Don't waste your money and time, Ego will not support you!

had my EGO snow blower and lawn mower stolen. filed police report. They asked me to give them serial numbers (which I did not have). Called Ego to see if they could help. Spoke to a very helpful man named Alex. He was very patient and, after finding out I did not register them (my bad) he asked if I had the batteries...I did! He took the numbers and the model of the ego as well as the dates on the batteries and figured out the serial numbers! He helped SO much and was VERY patient. I can not thank Alex and Ego enough for hiring such amazing employees. I am a customer for life and have already ordered repalcements!

Buy a different brand. My EGO mower has been broken since June, and their support team has failed at every step. I purchased the EGO POWER+ 21" Select Cut XP Mower (Model LM2150SP) from Canadian Tire. I started using it in June 2026 and had problems almost immediately. After only five or six uses, it developed serious issues I could not resolve. I spent weeks on the phone with EGO support. On August 18, after repeated troubleshooting calls went nowhere, I was told to bring the mower to an authorized service centre, King's Point. I dropped it off on August 20. While it sat there, I got no proactive updates and had to chase status myself. A supervisor named Tracy promised she would call me back with an update. She never did. I finally got the mower back on September 19, nearly a month later, after being told it was waiting on a part. I tested it immediately. It has the exact same problem it had before I dropped it off. King's Point's answer was to bring it in a second time. It is now peak mowing season and I have effectively had no usable mower since July. I went to Canadian Tire to return it. They were genuinely helpful and said they would process a full refund, but only if EGO issues a return authorization number. So now I am stuck between two companies, holding a mower I cannot use, waiting on a number EGO has not given me. This is not a cheap product. If I wanted a mower I would need to fight this hard to get repaired or refunded, I would have bought something inexpensive I would not think twice about replacing. This experience has cost me an entire summer and has turned me off EGO products entirely. If anyone from EGO is reading this, I would genuinely appreciate a call back. I have asked for one repeatedly and it has not happened. All I am asking for is the RA number Canadian Tire needs to complete my refund.

My Ego string trimmer was used for less than one season and the take-up-button would not work. I contacted Ego and was sent a couple of place to use for repair work. I chose a service repair dealer who was about 7 miles away and dropped off the string trimmer. 27 days later I went back and was told the trimmer was repaired and needed parts repaired; however, Ego NEVER responded to the repair shops request for approval of the repairs so I could take home the trimmer. BECAUSE I NEEDED THE TRIMMER I PAID FOR THE REPAIRS OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. When I arrived back home, I called Ego, told them my story, and was then given a "case number." I was told I'd hear back in a couple of weeks or so. That time has passed and no call back. Today I tried calling two times, each time put on hold, first for 10 minutes. I was prompted to do the callback option, which I accepted. It is now 3 hours and 40 minutes and NO call back from Ego. I called back a second time and have now been on hold for more than 20 minutes and still no response. EGO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND BEYOND COMPREHENSION. I GUESS EGO's MUST BE : "TO HELL WITH THE CUSTOMER." I will not be buying anything from Ego anymore.

We went to all battery outdoor equipment as we are getting older and decided to purchase the Ego family of products. Lawnmover, weed whacker, chainsaw, and blower. All are working great except the blower Ego 765 CFM. First blower bought April 2025. By August 2025 the trigger switch went out. Replaced under warranty in November after trying to use their warranty repair service which was out of business as it turns out. Now the exact same problem with the 2nd blower. Trigger switch went out again. Working with Ego warranty service again, 5 emails in and still not receiving a repair ticket. They do not have the best trained customer service agents. Here is the deal. This appears to be a consistent problem with the Ego blower. Why hasn't there a recall? Why not use a better quality trigger switch to match the quality of their other products?

Awful customer service. it takes days to file a complaint and when they finally realize the product is under warranty, they send you to a place an hour away (each way) to get the product looked at. what a joke.

I purchased a trimmer in October 2023 however it stopped working in February 2025. Not even 16 months. Instead (my fault) of putting in a warranty claim (didn't know 3 to 5 years) I purchased yet another one May 2025. Now that one stopped working in July 2026 and due to work obligations went to file a claim and the company's customer service is rude, doesn't listen, and wants you to "trouble shoot" even when you literally tell them what is wrong with BOTH of them. Had same problem when I reported a battery failure in 2024 with lawn mower when that stopped working in 2 months! DISHONEST AND DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY OR STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

I spent a lot of money on these products. Customer service was not no help. I would never buy any other product again. I talked to a person in technical support and all I got was the runaround you buy it you stuck with it.
