“Your call is very important to us and we are doing everything we can to expedite your call” is NONSENSE, there is no intention of calling back! I’ve now called for 3 DAYS trying to contact this company for battery warranty claim. My next call is to my state consumer affairs bureau. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Bought and EGO mower and trimmer 5 years ago. Both batteries are hooped and was told I need to buy new batteries……$800!!!! Would not recommend that anybody buys EGO products ever. You pay a lot of money for this stuff and then have to pay an outrageous amount to replace batteries.

EGO Battery Warranty Replacement. Called the toll free number as there is no other way to submit a request for warranty replacement of a defective battery. I was on hold for about 35 minutes before someone picked up. Ran through the troubleshooting questions with the agent and they determined that the battery was indeed defective. They say they will send a new battery in the mail in 10-15 days. Total time on the phone: 53 minutes.

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give EGO less than 1 star, I would. Bought the mower, battery, fast-charger package 18 months ago for $580.00. 4 months ago the battery went bad. After 3 weeks, I finally got a replacement battery through the Warranty department but not without a lot of headaches. I decided to purchase another battery as a back-up battery ($400.00) and no more than received it than my self-propel started acting up on the mower. There are very few "service centers" in the Houston area that will work on Warranty issues. Lowes, where I purchased the mower, can ship it to Austin (from Houston) to have it worked on which seemed ridiculous to me. Northern Tools does warranty work so I took it there, only to find out that there were about 20 EGO mowers ahead of me in the queue and it would be minimum 6 to 8 weeks before they could even look at it. Long story short, I have a $400 battery that I can't use because my mower has been sitting at Northern Tool since June 21. I've been paying a lawn service to do my lawn for the past 2 months ($300). To say I'm fed up with EGO would be a gross understatement. I will never buy another EGO product, or recommend an EGO product to anyone. To be clear, this review is NOT a negative review of Northern Tool as they are doing everything they can to get these mowers repaired. EGO Power Plus has some major issues to work out with their products.

Purchased an E-go leaf blower. Advertised usage was about 45 minutes before recharging. Actual use time is about 15 minutes before a recharge. I have 9 White Oak trees along my driveway and many more in the woods surrounding my property. I do not recommend this product unless you have a small yard and driveway. Had to purchase a gas backpack blower.

I was excited to step up to an electric EGO push mower in 2019. Purchased at Home Depot with limited funds I figured the savings over time would be beneficial. It included the V56 Lithium battery and the rapid charger. Initially it did perform well and everything seemed fine. After at most 10 uses I installed the V56 battery and it had no charge? I thought it must be something simple or I did something wrong but it wouldn't charge. My real issue is I spent literally hours trying to contact customer service for a year. There's no one trust me that will answer a call. Eventually the recording lets you leave a call back number. They make you wait on hold until you hang up! Two months ago I did get a call back and after a few minutes the line disconnected. Finally on 8/11/23 from another message to customer service I got a call back. I provide the ID number. He sees it's purchased in 2019 but doesn't see any other details. I told him it was from Home Depot. He said well we have no record of this product other than we don't do business with Home Depot any longer and it's out of warranty. Then he had me go through plugging it in and pressing the battery button which I know it's dead. He tells me the battery is sleeping? Well what do I do? He says you can get a new one for $400. Or go on Amazon and buy a used one. The bottom line is there's no support from ECO!! If you're dealing with a bad battery it's on you. They don't back up the product but defer the issue. The rep I spoke to was confusing giving all these reasons why they won't help me. Yes it went past warranty while they never responded to my calls. ECO discloses this battery life span is 10years! I don't like posting negative feedback but hopefully you'll read this and think twice. Really frustrated that after making every attempted to get my mower working I need to spend $400.

I have bought ego lawn mower and trimmer for years ago. Basically both of them are trash. Ego says how much they care for environment. Really If their equipment last only 4 years and ends up in landfill that is not protecting the Planet. The batteries that is another story. 2 years and I had to charge them more often to cut the same area. Price is extremely high these trash. I would advise to anyone to run away from greedy ego products.

This is a tough review. I bought the self propelled mulching mower (Model #: LM2135SP) and the combo pack of blower and grass trimmer (Model #: ST1502LB). After solving the problem of a defective battery for the mower I have been extremely pleased with the mower and the blower. Everything is as advertised. Unfortunately the trimmer is a different story. It is lousy product in multiple ways. First in order to load it you have to have biceps of steel. You put the supplied line through the head of the trimmer and pull it so you have equidistant pieces hanging out. You then have to manually crank the head to get the line to be wound inside the head. That takes a lot arm strength and some time . I was ready to live with that except for the fact that the recommended (and supplied) line kept breaking and the only way to fix it is to take the head off, unwind the line and repeat the loading process again. The supplied line breaks frequently. One time, for a normal back yard that it took 20 minutes to trim with my corded trimmer, I spent 70 minutes with the Ego mostly doing the above. The other thing is it doesn't cut well. My corded trimmer, if I placed it on the ground it would scalp the grass all around. The Ego only cuts the grass if the grass is really high. I had to tilt the trimmer many different ways to try and get it to actually trim. Buying a trimmer in a combo pack, I knew I wasn't getting the top of the line but this is ridiculous. I am back to using my corded trimmer while trying to find a really good battery operated grass trimmer.
