Too Expensive, you can buy a regular sofa for much cheaper

I was devastated when my old sofa would not fit in my new apartment, but all was made right when my mom found Elephant in a Box online! I ordered the elephant on a Thursday and it arrived on Saturday, and it only took about 15 minutes for my friend and I to assemble. It’s comfortable and functional - overall a great purchase!

Comfortable and sturdy. Just like advertised. Awesome to move a couch so easily and still be high quality. Same for the ottoman.

Cushions are initially quite uncomfortable and stiff. Added some stuffing to them and now much better. The backing doesn’t sit flush together but doesn’t really impact the comfort of the couch. I love the idea of the couch and still happy with the purchase. No way it’s going back in the box to move but easily breaks down into smaller pieces. Instructions to assemble could be better

Update: I’ve changed my 4 star rating to 5 after the response and support I’ve received from elephant in a box. My concerns have been addressed and reassured. Excellent customer service team who stands behind their product. Original review: The concept and design of this couch is great. I love the portability and weight. The couch is actually very comfortable to sit and lay on. The only complaints I have is the folding rods that brace the couch. The metal they’re made from are very thin and I worry that they may break or bend over repeated dismantle and reassemble. One of the feet also came off during shipping. We glued it back on. I hope they sell replacement parts in case they get damaged or lost. I would recommend this couch to friends.

Thank you for the review and the feedback! we'll pass it to our product team. You shouldn't have any problem with the beams, since they are mostly to simply keep the shape of the sofa, all the carrying will be on the Elephant Core. Now if for some reason you have any problem, just let us know (email/call) and we'll do everything we can to fix it, or replace it. That's our lifetime warranty promise :)
