The RV strikes a great balance between comfort, usability, and practicality. Whether for weekend trips or longer road adventures, it feels like a comfortable home on wheels. We're excited to put many miles on it. Highly recommended.

The Chicago depot were horrible humans. Rude and condescending. The building was full of annoyed people all living in the twilight zone. We had to transport my mil because she was too ill to fly. The AC didn’t work and we had to drive through the desert in July. Not a single word of empathy. Just gross people. Sorry El Monte but your kindness doesn’t make up for your business partner/ contractor.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience at our branch and the behavior of our staff. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we understand how upsetting it can be to feel disrespected or dismissed. We take all feedback seriously, especially when it involves the professionalism and courtesy of our team. Your comments have been escalated to the appropriate management team for review, and we’ll be addressing this internally to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Rented a Class C RV to take g-kids on a short vacation. The rental experience with El Monte was great. From initial reservation to that final check in was seamless. The RV was clean and well maintained. My third time as an El Monte customer. Price was competitive, would consider renting again.

The trip was amazing but please make sure to check everything over and confirm it’s all in working condition. Arrived to pick up motor home and they wanted to give us a unit that had front tire tread wear to the point of a possible blowout, if we had not noticed it for ourselves. The girl helping us was very apologetic but the technician as just complaining “we have to take it to the tire shop and it’s going to take hours” as if that was going to make me change my mind and take it that way. The girl helping us got that all worked out in about 45 mins and continued to be apologetic. On the trip, we were using the bathroom faucet and it appeared to be glued together under the counter and was falling apart. But the biggest issue we had that changed the trip comfort level, was when we were attempting to empty the sewage and come to find out that the unit didn’t have a sewage hose, only (2) water hoses. The sewage box was there, but had an additional water hose inside the box for a total of 2? Upon calling customer service, they advised me to go buy one and they’ll reimburse me. Great! I want to drive around on my vacation and try to find a sewage hose when this should’ve been on the checklist when the technicians go through the unit to confirm it’s ready to rent out again, much like the two front bald tires. Please do better with quality control and repairs.

We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We're sorry the motorhome wasn't fully prepared for your trip, especially regarding the tire condition and missing sewage hose. We'll review our inspection process to prevent similar situations. We value your feedback and take reviews like yours very seriously.
