Mostly it has been okay. However, in the past few months I have received more junk mail that I have ever received. Even when I block them, they keep coming. Now I just delete in bulk. Experian has more info for me; they are trying to track it and limit it. Experience is ongoing probably close to a year.

Normally excellent and did work very well however I’ve had to turn the automatic options off as it will connect and disconnect continuously until turned off and then set manually, which is a nuisance as it used to be great. I have reported it but haven’t received any response, might need to look elsewhere if this continues unfortunately.

Great service, but… However, connecting to Taipei Taiwan from China and getting ads in Cantonese, we know we are not connected through Taipei, but most likely Hong Kong or Guangzhou. Unless you have a good explanation, this is a serious breach of trust in my book.

It is getting more and more expensive because of the exchange rates but it works the way it should mostly. Although it can be hard to use on hotel wifis which is when it should work best.

It works well, though I have no idea just how anonymous it makes me.

I have used Encrypt.me VPN products and services for many years and been very pleased overall. On the infrequent occasions that I experienced a technical problem I received excellent (and very prompt) support from Encrypt.me support staff. The number of Encrypt.me servers around the world has grown immensely over the years and I appreciate having so many location choices. Yesterday, while travelling, I connected to an insecure network with my iPhone. I was suspicious that my connection was not being secured by Encrypt.me and on checking the app settings I found that the "Auto-secure Connections" button was switched OFF. Not something I ever do as I always want my wifi connection to be secure. I immediately set Auto-secure back to ON. Checking my wife's iPhone right away, I found that Auto-secure was also OFF on her device. Perhaps a result of the recent update to the app? A minor issue but something for users to check regularly, especially after an app update.

Price has increased, so expectations increase. Is more stable and much faster than Bufferd which is a benefit. A negative is a quirk that after tapping the desktop icon, the green 'log in' screen pops up in the lower right screen corner and stays visible for 1-2 seconds. It becomes a frustrating exercise in how fast I can move a cursor to hit it on a wide screen monitor. Usually 2-3 times. It is an annoying bug, but it also begs the question, why is it even necessary? Surely tapping the desktop icon should be sufficient to engage a login without having that redundant second action?
