1 star or maybe an incomplete. Said the item was in stock. Accepted my order with an expected delivery date. Now four days after the delivery date and no sign that my order has been prepared for shipping. Only communication is this customer satisfaction survey.

Hi Ronald, could you please expand on what happened here? For our pitchers, we recommend discarding the first 2 full pitcher fills of water. Flushing the filtration media can sometimes cause the water to appear slightly grayish. Is this possibly what you're referring to? The only other possible explanation I can think of without further information is the pitcher being left full of water in a warm, sunny spot for an extended period of time. I don't want to make assumptions about what happened here, though, so I'd really appreciate some more information. If something abnormal is happening with your water, please email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue, and ideally a photo. The filters fail after a few weeks for some and others they may last a month and half .. most times the filters don't even last 2 weeks without becoming clogged. I've asked to speak with someone but the only way they will communicate is by email which is beyond frustrating. In the beginning the filters were awesome and dependable, but they changed something in the design and now they just fail one after the other. I really wanted to love this filter.

Hi Rudy, I'm sorry about the experience you've been having with our filters. From what I can see in your order history, we've sent you two free replacement filters and a spigot. Did you experience the same difficulties with both the Pure XP and Nano XP filters you received? We did make changes when transitioning from our Classic Pure and Nano filters to the XP filters, but we haven't made any changes to the filtration media since then. I'm really sorry to hear that your filters have been clogging prematurely, especially after you had such a positive experience with them in the past. Was really excited to get this water bottle.. but I ordered it over a week ago and it still hasn't shipped! I'm really hoping that it shows up eventually and shows up in time for my trip! When I tried to contact customer service all I got was an AI response...

Within a very short period of having the product a piece came off the lid. I wrote to them and they didn’t respond. I wrote again and they finally did. However, it took three email exchanges to recognize that I was corresponding with an AI generated system. They didn’t offer a much help and of course, as we all know, it’s frustrating if you keep track of every single piece of information when you purchased something, although I sent them a photo of the product. It is not worth the money it takes a very long period of time for the water to filter and you get far less out of the filtration in terms of how long before the filter is clogged then they advertise In addition, the pitcher one you don’t get much water for it so you’re spending a good part of the day refilling and waiting. Lastly, and I think most importantly the customer service is terrible and I’m just going to leave it as a loss and move on from there. What a disappointment because I generally take very good care of every product I have and have them for years

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration you've had trying to get assistance. It shouldn't be complicated to get a replacement part when something breaks. I totally understand you wanting to take this as a loss and move forward after how we handled this. I'd still like to make this right if we can, though. I'd like to get our customer service team back in touch with you and bring this to the attention of our head of customer service. I'm going to request more information through this platform. Could you provide the email address you used and, if possible, your order number, if you haven't already provided it in your exchanges with our support team? We'd appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened with your lid and address your concerns about our support team and the filters. Also, when I request this information, I know the email from Trustpilot says, "If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine." I want to assure you that we do recognize your review as genuine. I just can't edit the wording of Trustpilot's request email.

Read online literature. Planned trip to uzbekistan. Always filtered our drinking water. Last trip used ceramic filter. This time convinced Epic was better. After one week the filter stopped dripping. Rinsing flushing did not help. Was forced to purchase bottled water. The Epic pitcher became a very expensive water pitcher. Returned to USA and find returns limited to 30 days. Never again. Ceramic filter and bleach drops. Never Epic. Expensive junk.

Hi Mark, I'm so sorry you had a negative experience with our filters! Sadly, our filters don't handle high sediment levels well. Our filters are made to do well with the relatively low sediment levels typical of treated U.S. household water, rather than the higher sediment levels that can be more common in tap water in parts of Uzbekistan. The often higher sediment levels in the water you were using are what most likely led to the filter stopping prematurely. I'm sorry we weren't better at communicating how high sediment can affect filter life, especially when using our filters while traveling. I'm not 100% sure of the protocol for this, but our support team can be reasonable if you explain the situation and that you were out of the country for those 30 days. Awful! You didn’t deliver it to me! You’re preparing order for two weeks already! Update: I did contact customer support, but unfortunately, I’m still getting the same vague answers that my order is “packed” and “should be shipping soon,” with no actual shipping date. I’m honestly tired of going back and forth. If there’s a supply or fulfillment issue, just be transparent and tell customers when the order can realistically ship. My order was placed on September 25 and still hasn’t shipped.
