We’re sorry that you’re unhappy with this situation, but we want to correct an important statement in this review. We did not repair and sell your glasses. Your item remained uncollected beyond the timeframe permitted under our property policy and was disposed of in accordance with that policy. The suggestion that we kept, repaired, or sold your property is not accurate. We understand your concern that you expected an additional warning before disposal, and we have taken that feedback seriously. However, we cannot agree with accusations that our business is a scam or that your glasses were secretly sold when that is not what occurred. What happens if I dont respond to the estimate? A. Once the eyewear arrives at our location, we will send you an invoice. If you decide not to pay it, you can opt to cover the return shipping costs. We will reach out to you via phone, email, and text multiple times to ensure you are informed. If you don't collect your item within 30 days of its arrival at our facility, we will dispose of it. In your case we contacted you via text over 58 times across a 2 month window. Your messages to us many months ago : Can my glasses be ready for me this weekend ? Then you sent 3 months later. I have been out of the country I just got back and I need them Sorry......

Jennifer, Your glasses have been located. They were not lost. After reviewing what happened, we determined that the glasses were mistakenly sent to our lab. As a result, the lab remade the lenses. We now have your glasses, your original lenses, the newly made lenses, and an invoice from our lab for the work that was performed. We understand why you were concerned when the glasses could not initially be located, and we apologize for the confusion and communication surrounding that. However, now that we have determined exactly what happened, we want to correct the record: the glasses were not lost by EyeglassesDepot.
