The test glasses I received are literally unwearable. They warp my vision, as if the curve of the lens is wrong.

The colored lines were incessantly outside of the borders and could not be corrected even when I moved the square viewing tool around on my screen. The mechanism vibrated and made a terrible screeching noise. I have had the unit for about 2 weeks now and have not been able to get one actual reading for myself.

Hi Kathryn, We're sorry to hear you've run into some trouble using the VisionCheck. I checked to see if you reached out to our support team to report the issue, but I could not locate any emails. It is possible you may have had the device placed upside down - that is the usual cause for the lines to be placed towards the sides of the screen vs the center. One of our support team representatives will be reaching out to you for more information.

The comments last time were not helpful. I followed the advice but nothing changed. The left lens is a computer distance prescription while the right lens is no good at any distance.

Got my first pair of try on glasses and they were horrible!!! I couldn’t see anything!!!

Did the 3 tests twice..had my vision at +6.75. When it is +9.75

Hello Christopher, Thank you for leaving us a review - I'm sorry to learn the results were different from your last prescription. There are different factors that can affect your results, but what stood out right away was that the screen resolution used to calculate your refraction was different than what the manufacturer's specs listed. Do you know if your phone settings were set at a default or lower level or perhaps your zoom was enabled? Also, do you recall adjusting the dotted rectangle prior to starting the test? I feel like you tried to hide the fact that you still need a Dr to get glasses. Deceptive.

I'm sorry to hear that you felt that you were deceived, but I will politely disagree because we do have it mentioned in several places throughout our website as well as in the apps themselves that the refraction tests are not a replacement for a visit to the eye doctor. We also do not refer to our measurements as a prescription, as they are not certified by a doctor. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our support team for assistance.
