Cynthia Wilson was very helpful with the whole process. She was professional and courteous. However when communicating the information via email it felt a bit unprofessional because I received blank emails with copy and pasted information with no logo or business signature. This was unsettling and made me nervous but in the end our tickets were booked and legitimate. My only suggestion to Faresplanet would be to make the email process more professional and secure. Especially when large amounts of money and information are exchanged. I also had to wait 24 hours for my E-tickets which was also a bit unnerving but like I said in the end all was good. I have not taken the flight yet but have been confirmed with the airline. I did save a lot of money with faresplanet so I do recommend their services and I also recommend Cynthia Wilson for the agent. You simply ask for her when you call.

We got a great deal and very kind service from Jerry at Fares Planet. He remembered me each time I called, and was very patient and informative on where we were at in the process. Honestly I was concerned when I got such a low price, then got a phone call that the price was going to be a little higher (It was about $100 higher. Not much.) But it turned out that I was able to get two round trip flights for my son and I, way below what other sites were advertising. It took a couple of days and a couple extra phone calls with Fares Planet for the flights to get ticketed, but now we have confirmation numbers and our Delta Airlines flight itineraries all set. And I know we're good to go from looking on the Delta Airlines website -- they have our itineraries listed under our confirmation numbers and names. Fares Planet buys tickets in bulk, so when an airline cancels or changes a leg of your flight, Fares Planet has to call you to make new arrangements. That's why it took a couple extra days and phone calls to plan our flights. I think they should advertise on their site a little differently (maybe put a range of prices rather than one advertised price), so people don't get confused and write bad reviews. (Because the advertised price may change when the airlines change the flight.) I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal, to try this service out. Because the bottom line is, I got my flights for $400-$800 less than what was advertised everywhere else. I got great service from Jerry, too. Sometimes it can be hard to trust someone on the phone you've never met. I had a couple red flags and wasn't sure if I should go through with the deal. But my husband and I decided that if anything went wrong, it would be easy to solve by cancelling the credit card charges. So we gave it a try and I'm glad we did. If you're nervous, just use a credit card for the transaction, since credit cards are protected in this way (the ability to reverse the charges.) You won't actually need to reverse the charges, but it might add some peace of mind knowing that you could if you needed to. I'm recommending this service to my other friends and family for sure.
