Booked meet-and-greet parking at Gatwick through FLY PARK COMPARE for my colleagues. The vehicle was not collected by SAPPHIRE as booked, resulting in £140 emergency parking charges. Call logs and receipts were provided when requested. Numerous follow-up emails were sent, a phone call was made and a formal complaint submitted. Despite this, no substantive response was received. I have had to pursue recovery of the booking fee via my credit card provider. My advice to prospective customers is to read reviews carefully before booking and consider how comfortable they would be if something went wrong and they needed assistance.

One star is one too many. I cannot express my disappointment for the way we have been treated by Fly park compare and Sapphire parking. I called the operative as requested 30 mins before getting to Gatwick Airport. The call went straight through to answerphone, I left a message saying we were 30 mins away. See pic 1 below. When we got to Gatwick, I called again as per pics 2 and 3 and was told to find a parking bay and they would be with me within 30 mins to my car for collection. I called again at 13.26, and I was told to leave my car in the short stay parking, take the keys with me and on my return on the 27th of Sept give them another call and they would give me a new ticket to exit the carpark. I said to the guy this isn't what I have paid for. I have paid for meet and greet and not park and leave. He hung up the phone on me. I spoke to Gatwick parking, and they said if I had of left my car there for 2 weeks in the short stay carpark, I would end up paying around £95.00 Pay day. I certainly did not want to risk getting a £1'33.00 parking bill.

Waited over half an hour for someone to collect our car, resulting in a car park fee of £20. Telephone contact was poor, barely able to understand the other person. This was when someone actually answered the phone. When collecting my car, again I had to wait over the quoted time. Inside the car everything had been moved, including the dash cam! I also had to remove the empty drink can left by the driver. This was a very poor service and I will never use flyparkcompare again. I strongly recommend that you use a different company

AVOID SAPPHIRE GATWICK PARKING — ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE I genuinely cannot believe the state of my car after using Sapphire Gatwick Parking. I returned from holiday to find that my car had received a parking ticket, and there is now a dent in the door that was NOT there when I left my car with them. On top of that, the inside of my car absolutely stinks of poo/faeces. I paid for a parking service and expected my vehicle to be returned in the same condition I left it in. Instead, I came home to this. What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of customer service. I have contacted Sapphire Gatwick Parking multiple times by email and they haven’t even bothered to respond. Not even the courtesy of an explanation. I also contacted Fly Park Compare, the comparison site I booked through, expecting them to at least help resolve the situation. Instead, I was told they couldn’t do anything and, from my experience, the whole thing was simply brushed off. So basically, once they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own when something goes wrong. A parking ticket, unexplained damage to my car, an absolutely disgusting smell inside the vehicle and zero meaningful response from either company is completely unacceptable. I would personally NEVER use Sapphire Gatwick Parking again, and based on my experience I would strongly recommend that other people think very carefully before handing their car over to this company. The worst part isn’t even just what happened to my car — it’s the complete lack of accountability afterwards. Ignoring customers does not make a problem disappear. Absolutely shocking service from start to finish.

I followed the instructions to call 30 minutes before our arrival, expecting to be met at the drop off point. On arrival we waited a further 25 minutes before the driver turned up. I called again after 20 minutes of waiting to be told that the driver was stuck in traffic, which he clearly wasn't at 0430 in the morning given the clear roads that we had just travelled on. When I question it and in the absence of knowing the name of the contact I referred to him as Mate, he responded by telling me he wasn't my mate. He's was right, he was not my mate but his diction was so poor that I could not discern his true identity. Rude, rude, rude and dishonest. We returned 5 days later to our car that was clean on drop off, was now covered in bird excrement and spoil from trees. This service is not professional, honest or worthy of recommendation. It was notable that the drivers were polite and friendly, they are very much let down by the company they work for.

My flight back to Gatwick from Florence was cancelled and I could not get another flight in until the next morning. I could not phone the number for Fly Park directly from my phone from Italy, so my brother rang on my behalf to let them know I would not be collecting the car that evening. Whoever answered the phone was rude to him, and simply told him that I should call the next day when my flight landed. The next day when my flight landed I called as soon as I was in passport control. They said it would be 45 minutes to an hour for my car to be delivered. I was collecting from North Terminal and asked specifically if they were bringing it here as I had originally planned on coming back to South Terminal. I double checked that it was car park 6 Level 5, and this was confirmed. 1 hour 30 minutes pass. One of the car drivers apologised for the wait and checked on the status of my car. Turns out they had got the wrong car and had to go back to the lot to get mine. He said it would be 20mins. Another 30 minutes pass, no sign of my car. phone the number again, and the man on the phone was SO RUDE to me, essentially blaming me that my flight came in late and that they had to park it in a different lot or something like that. Said it would be ANOTHER 45 minutes to an hour. He at least said he wouldn’t charge me for the extra day. How kind. Another driver (the nicest one by far) dropped someone else’s car off and was shocked that I had been waiting about 2.5 hours by this point. He offered to take me to the lot if the car wasn’t on its way, which was actually very nice of him. However, the car was said to be on its way. About 25 minutes later I get a call from no caller id on my phone. It was the man from the company asking me where I was. I told him that I was on level 5 as I’d been instructed and he was again SO RUDE, telling me that he told me to be on level 3 (NO ONE, had told me to be on level three, the instructions on the email clearly state level 5 for north terminal, and I confirmed this over the phone when called them at 12:15 when my flight arrived.) The man was clearly so scared to speak to me in person he had parked in a disabled bay on level 3 AND LEFT MY KEY ON THE FRONT RIGHT TYRE. Never ever will I use this company again. From the first call at 12:15 I FINALLY got my car at 3pm. This company needs a lesson in accountability and customer service. DO NOT USE THEM!

Absolutely useless. Booked and paid £78.95 for my car to be collected at Heathrow at 6am. They never turned up. I was left with no choice but to arrange another company and pay them separately to deal with my car. Complete waste of time and money. Would not use this company again.
