Fresh Start Law Center got my felonies reduced to misdemeanors and then dismissed - they ARE the best! California does not have a true "expungement" statute. What it does have is a "dismissal" under Penal Code 1203.4. If granted, it doesn't wipe the case off your record, but it adds a notation that your conviction was set aside and a "not guilty" plea entered; AND the charges dismissed. That allows you to tell 99.9% of employers that you have not been convicted of a crime, but it remains on your record and still counts as a prior conviction. This is California's version of an "expungement" and employers are prohibited from discriminating against you based on that conviction. I highly recommend Fresh Start Law Center to anyone!!!

David Huffman is a gem! He explained every step of the way and got my cases dismissed. I had multiple cases and he worked on them simultaneously. The whole process was simple, painless, and didn't cost an arm and leg! This is the real deal. By doing everything online and through email made the whole process very convenient. David responded quickly to emails and always took my calls. I am very fortunate to have found Fresh Start Law Center.

I honestly expected David to take longer then what he had previously explained can be the max week lead time. However it took just 8 weeks and I got my expungement paperwork. I really appreciate that I get my life back.
