The $75 charge, reduced from the standard $99 due to your status as a student, was for the troubleshooting efforts undertaken to address the intermittent screen issue. Initially, the problem seemed resolved, but the recurrence confirms it's likely a deeper hardware issue. Given the potential high costs of hardware repairs, I suggested that replacing the laptop might be more economical. You are welcome to seek a second opinion from another service provider to explore other possible solutions. I appreciate your understanding and wish you the best in resolving this issue. -Greg
