I'm a professional photographer and videographer for a wedding band company. I had created a diy solution for product shots that was good but doing more jewelry with diamonds in them and I realized my solution had its flaws.. i reached out to Picup Media via chat and asked them some questions about the gembox and they were extremely helpful! I use a sony a7r4 and not an iphone for this and they assured me that would work great. They expedited the shipping and while i waited i was a little nervous that it wouldn't be any better than my setup and we'd likely have to return it... well i got it a week early because they expedited the shipping and low and behold we are blown away by the results. the detail and clarity are amazing and it is plenty bright to get a good exposure at iso 100 without a super long exposure. I use my own diy articulating platform and it fits in there perfect and allows me to get all the angles we need. Our retoucher will have plenty of nice detail, highlights and lowlights to work with. Can't wait to try out the turntable! Thanks again for a great product and great customer service!!

During this pandemic I had to come up with new ways to do business and the Gem Lightbox caught my attention. I did some research and was quickly sold on the quality of not only the lightbox, but also Picup Medias customer service. They were patient and answered all of my questions. Received the box in a timely manner and the rest will soon be history. The quality is way above what I expected, the lightbox and the app are extremely easy to use! (I had high expectations due to price too) One thing I recommend to Picup Media is having some sort of cover come with the box. A simple cloth cover that slips on and off from the top will prevent a lot of dust from getting in which means less cleaning and less re taking pictures because of specs of dust naked eye doesn't catch the first time around.
