Hi Jefferson, Your order was canceled and the refund was issued immediately following your request. Please note that international refunds are not instantaneous. Once a refund has been processed by us, it can take up to 15 days for the funds to appear back on the original payment method, depending on the issuing bank and payment network. This processing period is entirely outside of our control. There is therefore no further action required on our end at this time. The refund has already been processed, and you should allow the normal international banking processing period for it to appear on your account. Best regards,

This review does not accurately reflect what occurred. We responded to the customer within our normal response time after he contacted us regarding the table clock. Based on the initial claim that the item was defective, we also provided a prepaid return label. During the subsequent exchange, however, it became clear that the customer was not returning the clock because it was defective, but because he had changed his mind about the purchase. Like many retailers, GESSATO does not provide complimentary return shipping for change-of-mind returns. Return shipping in those circumstances is the customer's responsibility, as stated in our return policy. The suggestion that our customer service is “non existent” is therefore simply incorrect. We responded, addressed the request, and explained the applicable return policy. This negative review was posted only after we declined to absorb the return shipping cost for a discretionary return. We are always happy to resolve genuine product defects at our expense. What we cannot do is treat a change-of-mind return as a defective-product claim in order to provide free return shipping.

For anyone reading this review, here is the context that has been left out. This customer purchased two separate products from two separate product pages. They were not sold as a set. One item later turned out to be unavailable due to an inventory discrepancy, and we issued an immediate refund for that item. About a week after receiving the remaining item, the customer decided to return it. We approved the return and provided the standard options stated in our return policy, including the option to return it independently or use an optional prepaid return label with the label cost deducted from the refund. No mandatory return fee was imposed. What followed were threats of a negative review, and now this version of events, which omits those facts entirely. We regret the inventory issue, but the order and return request were handled properly from beginning to end.
