Tbh, I have had a string of bad interactions with many businesses, I was becoming jaded. I signed up for AKKO after doing research beforehand and then purchasing my new phone. I hope my dilligence would be rewarded somehow rather than not. Fast forward 2 months later, my phone was stolen by thieves at a festival who were running an entire operation. Really sad and they should be caught. I put in my claim to AKKO and provided ALL the information I obtained and set myself up for success. They told me what they needed, I gave it to them, they were EXCELLENT on timing and communication, they followed through, and it was a seamless experience. THANK YOU AKKO. Restored my faith in businesses.

My recently purchased but out-of-warranty Pixel 7 Pro decided to stop working. I tried everything that the google team suggested and then took it to a repair shop. They said it was DOA and nothing they could do for me after testing everything they could. Akko took care of this without hassle. They responded in less than 24 hours, and after asking for a little more documentation, I had the reimbursement for a replacement phone in my account. They even gave me a prepaid shipping label to send back the broken phone. All by email, all very smooth. Thank you Akko for being there for me when I need you.

I’ve had them for about a year now. Luckily I did. I was robbed on vacation and one item broke. They paid me really fast for my MacBook, iPad and computer monitor. Just like any other place they ask for documentation and proof but if you’re not hiding anything then it’s easy. Also payments and take a few minutes to arrive to my PayPal. I think this has better than asurion. I had them before making the switch

This is my 2nd claim done with Akko and I have no complaints overall getting my daughters phone repaired. I found a guy that literally fixed the screen in 15 mins. I submitted the receipt and was reimbursed immediately. It takes a little work on your end but at $9 a month compared to $17 with tmobile, I have no issue taking a pic or 2 and waiting a bit for a reply.

My experience was great because my MacBook was replaced and I think that this company is doing great and is really nice because they supported with all problems I had with my device. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

I had an excellent experience with AKKO and I plan to continue to use them for a long time. I have a Galaxy Z fold 3. The hinge stopped opening fully. I put in a claim on the app, they asked for pictures. A few days later they gave me the okay to get it looked at by UBreakIFix and get a quote. After I got the quote they then said it would be better to just replace the phone, and they found it on back Market. Once they found the phone they gave me the okay and funded me the price of the phone minus my $99 deductible. I purchased a phone off back Market which also was an excellent experience got a very high quality like new refurb Galaxy Z Fold 3. And then sent my broken phone to AKKO and that completed the claim. A+ all-around experience. Overall took about a week from filing the claim to getting my new phone and then I took a few days to transfer everything to the new phone and then send the damaged phone to AKKO.

I filed my first claim with Akko over a iPhone SE 2020 that was lost in a taxi ride. Provided them the loss information and a police report and they quickly sent me claim money minus deductible to my PayPal account. I definitely will recommend to friends and family who need personal insurance on their personal items.
