We had to sell our house and move in with my wife's mother due to health issues. We unfortunately had GHS at both locations. We had to end or contract at a cost of 2000.00 read your contract before you sign anything. Sad!!!

I called VIO 3 times and spoke to customer service before my contract ended and explained that my cable company is offering security service at lesser price than I was paying through VIO and the representative explained that they would lower my monthly price to $29 a month with a 3 yr contract and don’t know why I said ok but in fact my monthly payment was raised to$36 a month and I was given a one yr contract I’ve called back several time and a ticket was given but again no call back I’ll end my contract and will look for better service and better customer service. Anonymous Owner, I have had the alarm for three years with a five year contract and I pay $50.00 a month. It wasn't until the installers who showed up and started taking out my old system that came with the house and installed theirs that they told me that there is a five year contract and when I ask they left with no answer. When I called the company I haven't gotten an answer to this day. I also hear people talking on it from time to time, I get alerts all the time that my system is off-line and it can last for hours and sometimes it has lasted for days. I also don't know why they charge so much when other companies $10-20 dollars a month.

From reading the reviews, we are NOT the only one who DID NOT receive the alleged notice of change from GHS to Vio and the notice of rates change and the date it will be taken out. Adan - I hope you did not pay a lot for that "LEADERSHIP" crew you were BS'ing about. WE DID NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH VIO. Cancel our account please and stop robbing your once happy customers blind!

Mrs. Bowers, your GHS agreement is still valid with Vio, a new signed agreement was not necessary as we are the same organization just operating under a re-branded name. Mrs. Bowers, We have not received the written notice of cancellation and other documents from Mr. Bowers as we have requested. Please submit at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I have had GHS, now Vio for 3 years, signed a 5 year contract. This month not only did they up my rate with no notice, (yes I checked all of accounts, spam, all and regular on the account I've had for over 5 years) they also double charged me for the month. If I paid my total due for 30 days on May 24th, how is it legal to take the full amount again on June 1st. This means I paid for 30 days on the 24th, bit only received 7 days of service before I was charged a full 30 days again on the 1st. If I signed a contract agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth in the contract, how can they make changes to my contract without even notifying me, and steal my money at the same time??? As you can see from the response below they didn't actually read my comment, just submitted a generic response that does not even touch in the theft of my money.

Heather, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change. In efforts to continue to provide quality service, and to ensure billing issues are minimized, Vio Security has made some changes in the rate and billing due dates. The rate increase is the first in the organizations history and it was a difficult decision Vio had to make. Your May 24th payment is for the entirety of the month of May and Vio Security's due date is now the first of every month. Your June 1st payment is for the entirety of June and you will not be billed again until July 1st. Vio made sure to update all customers about these changes, however if there has been changes with email information we have on file, this may be a reason for not receiving the information. Our billing team has been notified to contact you to go over the billing information, we recommend double checking with the agent to make sure all your contact info is up to date. We hope to have provided clarity on the matter, and again apologize for the inconvenience.

GHS , Worst security company ! I have just been notified that I was billed 2times for my service as an automatic withdrawal! I attempted to find out why and was placed on hold for over 35min, no one picked up! I also NEVER RECEIVED a copy of a signed contract when the installer came, a year later when I still did not know of how to properly set up the alarm, customer service sent me a PDF thru my email and was to small to read off my phone that I called to get a hard copy sent to my home address and they advised me that they don’t do that!!! Now to find out GHS is now Vio Security... when we’re they to advise their customers. Not everyone reads their email and correspondence SHOULD BE ADDRESSED THROUGH THE USPS!! Not satisfied and I’m awaiting to finalize this situation, and what my payment refunded that they withdrew twice this month!!

Marylou, thank you for bringing this matter to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. GHS is now Vio Security since mid 2020. All customers were notified about this change, as well as the change to the monthly payments and dates. In efforts of being more green, Vio Security choose to notify via email. Vio Security has moved from having multiple due dates on the monthly payments to all payments being due on the first of every month. Your next payment will not be due until July 1st. This was done to ensure less billing related issues and to ensure accuracy. We again apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are making changes in efforts of providing the best quality of service possible. Please give us a call and ask for a complementary service for system training, if any hiccups were to happen, advise of Compliance approving the service at no charge, although there should not be any issues with that. Vio Security does electronic agreements which automatically send you a copy of the agreement once signed but we understand they may sometimes end up in spam or junk. We are more than happy to provide you a copy of your agreement, simply ask the agent you speak with during your call and you should receive it prior to that call ending. Marylou, again thank you for bringing this matter to attention, we hope to have provided some clarity on this.

You can NEVER get a hold of these people. And they are not about to return a call. I am now being double billed for my service. I can’t get anyone on the phone to explain why.

I just received a rate hick without any communication. I called and was told that it's up to my city to inform me of the rate increase of this company. I will not renew my contract this company has loss me as a customer beware.

This was done to ensure the services provided by Vio continue to be of quality, however we would like to reduce your rate back to the normal charge you are use to.
