I spent a week regularly checking the global entry website for an appointment and never found an available appointment. My airport was fully booked out… after signing up, I got an appointment that worked with my schedule within 2 days for the following week. I stayed on until the day of my appointment in case a conflict came up, and over a week I received 5-10 appointment notification per day.

I knew immediately when new appointments had been released and could log in and grab them when they fit my schedule. I appreciated knowing about cancellations, but ultimately got 2 appointments on the day they were released, even though it wasn't the day I'd expected them to be opened. I'd read that it was the first Monday of the month, but I received notifications on a Wednesday and booked them ASAP.
