Hi Dalton,
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. This is the first time hearing from you since we parted. Even though it’s a tough one for us to read. It’s clear you were disappointed by the outcome, and we want to acknowledge that upfront.
We hear you.
At Adstra, we set a high bar for ourselves and for the outcomes we promise our clients. When we fall short of those expectations, it’s our responsibility to reflect and respond with honesty, not excuses.
That said, we do want to clarify a few important details for the sake of transparency. Both for you and for others reading this.
1. This was not a 6-month run
While the agreement may have spanned six months, the actual time we were able to actively run ads and execute the core strategy was only ~8 weeks. Due to multiple platform-level delays, payment issues with the advertising, and internal bottlenecks on your team’s side, the campaign was never fully launched or funded as agreed in the SOW.
Understand that you make Shane's life a LOT harder when every other day, the ads are down for 72 hours or more. This happened various times. This breach in momentum and ad learning makes it virtually impossible for success to occur.
Simply put, we weren’t given the time or tools required to deliver what we promised.
That includes:
• The agreed-upon ad spend was not provided consistently.
• Case studies and social proof materials, which we made clear were critical to campaign success, were not completed in full (we received only three).
• Your team shifted away from the agreed onboarding structure, delaying campaign momentum significantly.
2. Qualified bookings vs. leads
We 100% understand the frustration of chasing leads who aren’t ready to buy. That’s why we’re one of the few companies that offers guaranteed qualified bookings — when the process is followed as scoped.
In this case, we booked 19 calls in the limited period we had, and based on call recordings and campaign metrics, the issue wasn’t lack of volume, it was follow-through and conversion. Our data showed a lack of sales motion, inept sales skills, and inability to drive sales conversions on your end.
We can't help people who don't have a solid sales process.
Marketing without sales execution will always fall flat. Our program requires collaboration, not just delivery.
3. Leadership & Communication
Jake, as the CEO, is involved in strategy and kick-off, but most execution is handled by our CS team. When Shane stepped in to take over, it wasn’t a handoff due to abandonment. It was strategic to ensure you had consistent support. We’re thrilled you had a positive experience with Shane. He’s phenomenal.
4. The Guarantee
Our guarantee, as stated in the signed agreement, is contingent on full program participation and resource alignment. That includes campaign duration, full budget deployment, and asset delivery. Unfortunately, those benchmarks were not met. We can’t in good faith honor the guarantee without those pieces in place, not to dodge responsibility, but to stay true to the integrity of the offer.
We truly wish things had gone differently. We don’t take your disappointment lightly.
Every client teaches us something. In this case, we’ve become more selective about who we onboard, ensuring full alignment before launch. We’ve improved our internal checks, onboarding protocols, and mutual accountability expectations.
We also want potential clients reading this to know:
If you have a clear offer, proof of success, and a solid sales process and you’re ready to give the program your full participation, we can deliver world-class results, just like we have for thousands of businesses.
Dalton, we’re grateful for the opportunity to work with you, even if the outcome wasn’t what either of us hoped for. We genuinely wish you continued success and know for a fact if you keep in touch with the qualified list we built you, you will sign more clients.
Sincerely,
Adstra
