I purchased a smart apron from Grillbot, but it arrived without any of the advertised 'smart' items. I have reached out to customer service three separate times to resolve this. Each time, a representative named Rachel promises to ship the missing components, yet weeks pass with zero follow-through and no tracking number. The lack of basic competence and customer support is incredibly frustrating.

DO NOT ORDER THIS! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! We were very disappointed that the grillbot (even with the brass brushes on it) did not clean the grate even close to thoroughly after cooking just plain meat on it twice. Even more disappointing was that after buying two Father's Day Bundles with the assurance in their advertising and on the website that there were no hassle/no fuss returns for a60 days, only to find out that after spending more than $400 on the two bundles we can only return the grillbot and the box of brushes that were unopened. This is despite the other two pieces of the set also being unopened; they were rejected for return. The used set was entirely rejected even though we put the eligible pieces through the dishwasher and ensured that the bot was likewise as clean and two of the items were also unopened when we filed the initial request. In the end I am only getting back a quarter of what was spent ($98) and this company keeps the rest.

What a piece of crap. Came broken, when you reach out, it suddenly becomes our problem. They knowingly have a problem with their batteries, but don’t care enough to fix it. So now I’m stuck with this crap gift that never worked.

If I could give a zero I would! This is a piece of worthless junk! This was given to my husband as a Christmas present because we love to grill. We put it on our charcoal grill and it did absolutely nothing but spinning around as if it lost its mind! A piece of junk do not buy this! It doesn’t work if you cook a lot of food on the grill. Maybe it’s designed for a gas grill, but it did not do anything on a charcoal grill! I have thrown it in the dumpster!

The bottom melted the first time I used it, even though the grill was less than 150°. It was still working but after a few months, it won't charge. I contacted customer service who said it was my fault that it melted, even though I followed THEIR safety tips. The melting voided the warranty so they won't do anything about it not charging. The customer service rep was horrible. She offered me 25% a new Grillbot as if I would ever buy anything from them again. Buyer beware!
