Gold Seal Ground SchoolsReviews of groundschool.com

Always there when I had questioned. The classes were in a format that worked for me. Being able to review at will helps a lot. I wish there was a way to type in Den Alt for example and go directly to that lesson.

Gold is the absolute best ground school for instrument. Everything was super detailed and easily digestible! This ground school taught me everything I needed to know and more!

Everything about the Private Pilot Ground School course was great. I started with another course that was recommended to me and stumbled through almost half of it. Found Gold Seal and switched and it was night and day. Everything was explained clearly and easy to understand. I passed my FAA written test with flying colors and I don’t test well. Definitely would recommend to anyone trying to obtain their PPL

Loved the videos and how Russ broke down content in an understandable manner. Started with Sports, but when I switched to Gold Seal it was like night and Day. Keep doing what y'all are doing!

This was an exceptional course! I highly recommend. The information was clear, interactive, and prepared me for the knowledge test. I cannot give enough thanks to Gold Seal for providing a quality course.

This course offers a vast amount of information within an easy to digest, interactive format. While feeling completely overwhelmed with the topics and amount of things to review - Gold Seal quickly had me confident in my new knowledge. While I took way longer than I should have to finally take my test, the Lifetime course had my back, as I was able to continually refresh my knowledge if needed. When I finally took the test, I passed with a 95 and felt very confident when taking the test. My only complaint is that there were a few topics that didn't seem to be covered in this course that may or may not end up on the test. Please be aware that I am not talking about questions I didn't memorize, but topics that I don't recall being covered. I went through the course material several times. I only encountered 1 or 2 questions that confused me and seemed like a new topic on the actual test, but I took several practice tests elsewhere that covered information I had no idea about such as regulations for flying over a wildlife refuge, runway markings and airport symbols etc. These topics seemingly don't make up a significant portion of the test if at all, and didn't appear at all on my official one. With that said, once I was aware of these topics it only took about an hour to run through them for free online, and add them to everything I learned from Gold Seal. There is also a chance I somehow overlooked this information due to the fact that this course offers a TON of valuable stuff. 5 stars!

When I first signed up for the ground school I was apprehensive. I have always learned better in a classroom environment. But with all the tools Gold Seal gives you, I was able to take my time and learn the material at my pace. I am very happy with my experience and plan to go on to my instrument rating through Gold Seal as well.

As a non-standard student by a few decades, Its a challenge to think about getting back to taking test! I used Gold Seal when I went after my PPL after trying another platform where the data just didnt transfer. Ive stepped back up to the plate to go after my IFR rating, and Gold Seal is working out great.
