Results take as early as 3 months and up to 6 months on average. We've also recently reformulated our main ingredients to make sure there's less irritation and burning. You can also wash it out after 1-2 hours of application without impacting the efficacy of the medicine.

Happy Head did regrow some of my hair but it gives a very itchy scalp & white flakes when it dries out. The price of $79 per month is quite steep for what it offers. If it were around $30-$40 per month, it would make a lot more sense and many more customers would probably keep their subscription instead of canceling.

My only complaint is that the solution is a bit too oily. That said, this is way better than retail monoxidil foam that is based on alcohol and dries your scalp. Just need to find a good way to style my hair in the mornings with the oily residue. After 1 week less hair in my hands when washing my hair in the shower already.

Hi there - thanks so much for your review! We are very optimistic as well! Results typically take as early as 3 months and up to 6 months. Your hair will grow through a phase of telogen (resting) to anagen (growing), which will cause the telogen hairs to be replaced (some minor shedding may occur) with much stronger, thicker hair! It grew baby hair within the first few months, after about a year I have about 60% growth on my bald spot on crown and some fine hair on my front hairline. It worked well but I was hoping for better results. I dont like the way the product dries hard and also dries out my hair. It's kind of a pain in the butt to appy twice a day and its more expensive than I want to pay.

We may want to switch finasteride to dutasteride, which may be a more effective solution for you. If the product is drying out your scalp, we can reformulate to remove retinoic acid as well. You can also wash out the medicine after 1-2 hours without reducing its efficacy. Applying twice a day is key, you may titrate down to once a day, but as long as you stay consistent. Full results do take up to 6 months. Our price point is also due to our customization and because all our prescribing doctors are required to be board-certified dermatologists -- those are the doctors who spent an extra 4 years studying hair and skin!
