The Originator of the Seersucker Suit. Founded in New Orleans in 1909, Haspel is the originator of the seersucker suit and now offers a vibrant collection of men's shirts, pants, and fashion accessories. Known for innovative lightweight fabrics, Haspel is the preferred men's clothing brand to keep you looking and feeling cool. Damn right! ABOUT US Joseph Haspel, Sr. originated the use of a lightweight cotton fabric known as seersucker in the manufacturing of men's suits in the early 1900's. His suit solution for Louisiana's blazing summer heat became the brand's signature item, propelling Haspel's popularity beyond its southern roots, while making an indelible mark on American menswear. In the following decades, Haspel continued to expand its offerings, attracting new enthusiasts with its bold colors and classic sensibilities. It also pushed the envelope of innovation, introducing stretch fabrics and working with fabric companies to create the "miracle fiber" used in wash-and-wear suits. Owned by the Haspel family, the brand today has built on it's iconic tradition in Summer Suits and expanded it's roots in menswear to accessories and new products. Haspel has been doing it right for over 100 years. They are my 'go to' for Summer weight suits. Can't beat the timeless fashion but definitely can beat the heat and look good too. Great customer service. Prompt deliveries 5 of out 5 starts for me.

Disappointed that the shirt didn’t fit. I used your size guide and wasn’t even close.

This is the second seersucker jacket we've bought from Haspel. Fast shipping, beautiful tailoring - Haspel is definitely a class act. My husband gets so many compliments!

Per current practice of online shopping, I had to order a few different sizes of the same item to get the right fit. But it's a nice evening jacket in seersucker, and other items. Haspel customer service was personable and efficient.

I can only rate on my experience THIS time around. I ordered a pair of bucks, to have expeditiously, paying accordingly. Day I was to have them was called by someone at Haspel to say they weren’t coming due to an imperfection in product— A nice gesture as it was appreciated, of course. But was a necessary item for an event and I had to do without.
