Holme and Hadfield Review Correction. I want to correct my opinion and review of the company “Holme & Hadfield”. Yesterday I wrote a scathing review only to wake up to an apologetic letter from H&H. In their previous letter to me they were gracious and willing to help. I unfortunately did not notice their response since it was in my spam folder. I must apologize for not noticing their response since email and retract (deleted) any previous negative posts or reviews. Thanks for understanding. Gregory

Hi Gregory, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this has caused, especially given these were intended as gifts. We did reply on April 27th with a proposed solution, but it appears our message may not have reached you. From your perspective, it understandably felt like there was no response at all, and we sincerely apologize for that experience. From what we can see, the issue relates to a damaged lid on one of the cases during transit. While this is not the standard we aim for, we take full responsibility for making it right. We’ve since followed up with you directly and offered two options: a priority replacement lid (along with a gift voucher as a gesture of goodwill), or a return label with a full replacement unit sent out. We genuinely care about our customers and their experience, and we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to resolve this for you. If you’re able, please check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) so we can get this sorted for you as quickly as possible. Warm regards, Holme & Hadfield Team

These guys over promise and under deliver. Promised delivery before Christmas. Didn't arrive until March, and then it arrived broken. When the defect was brought to the company's attention, they tried to deny responsibility and then tried to condition a refund upon unreasonable return demands. The product is also much cheaper than it appears. It's actually mediocre quality junk. And when you challenge their unethical behavior, they try to game you. Do not do business with this business.

Hi James, We’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. The delay you experienced was caused by an unexpected stock issue affecting a number of orders during the holiday period, and we understand how disappointing that must have been. When your order did arrive and you reported damage, our team immediately offered solutions, including a replacement unit from the next incoming batch or a return. After you advised that returning the item would be difficult because it had been sent as a gift, we issued a full refund as a one-time exception without requiring the return in order to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We regret that the experience fell short and appreciate the opportunity to address it. If you would ever like to discuss this further, you’re welcome to reach us directly at [email protected].
